Interior garage ceiling lights

Has anybody recently installed new lights in their garage? Seems like most folks are using fluorescent T8, some use the T5. Are you happy with the output, do you wish you had installed more, positioning? I have a three car and need to light it.

It really depends on your ceiling height and what you want it to look like. 96" 2 bulb t8 stops work good and are cheap to run. 48" 2 bulb strips are the most popular and cheapest. If you want to get fancy 48" 4 bulb wrap arounds look good. Placement depends on the size of garage and the interior color. If it is all sheetrock or painted white the less lights you need. My garage is 40x30 open walls and 10' ceiling with 15 2 bulb 48" strips ron in three rows from front to back. It's adequate but I still need a spot for under the hood and underneath.

I like 2 bulb 4 footers my self you can put more of them in in a given space then 8 footers. More light in a garage or shop is never a bad idea.

I don't know what they are, I'll check, but I have three or four ballasts of two bulbs and it keeps it well lit in there
