interview question

so I was at my part time job yesterday and we're all standing around talking and my manager brings up one of her interview questions because I never had to answer it because I never went through an interview. but it's a fun question and I thouhgt I'd post it up here for a little more fun. so here it is....

If there was a movie made about your life, who would play you and why?

i couldn't think of anyone at the time, but they told me they thought it'd be Dermot Mulroney.

Probably Jack Black, since John Belushi's dead.

That question is as bad as "What can you bring to this company?" or "Why should I hire you?"

Not good to have a brain lock during an interview either

Those questions, I can answer. (I've been practicing.) The first question, I haven't a clue.

I would probably stare at the interviewer, begin to slowly drag my knuckles and say HUH? (normal reaction for me when cornered)

Don't worry Odhinn, I would blurt out something completely inappropriate and not get the job. Probably end up looking like a lunatic too.

Ouch that must have hurt.

Thats the same reaction I got from the guy that interviewed me here. After he stopped laughing He said I was hired because of my experience and training and not because of my reaction to his "stump the applicant" question.

It's good when employers have a sense of humor.

Ditto. I was asked once what I wanted to get out of working for the company. I told him I wanted his job so he could retire. I got the job on the spot managing a $50 mil warehouse. Of course, the pay didn't fit the number of hours I was putting in so I left six months later.

all my buddies call me 'Billy Zane' cause I look like him in that Crypt Keeper movie he did. I guess for a guy that knows kung-fu he can play me in the movie. I'd have to say my movie would be like a cross between Braveheart meets star wars with my character like James T. Kirk, cause he gets all the green chicks.

I always wonder if the interveiwer can see my "inner personality": wild punk hair (some un-natural color), multiple tatoos and "speak my mind" attitude......as I sit across them in my skirt suit, coiffed hair, tatoo discretely hidden and saying "yes ma'm" (like momma taught me)

I figured I wouldn't instill the best trust in a patient if I approached them looking "wild".

I can't answer the movie question...I'll ask Frank when he gets home......he knows me sooooo well

I just asked my husband and he said Kristy Alli. Well, he said, "That dark haired chick from Cheers." I'm assuming he didn't mean Rhea Perlman since my hair isn't that curly.

Christopher Walken. Not because I look anything like him. Just because he does evil so well.

Well, I asked around and I was told that Gina Gershon or Michelle Rodriguez should play me in a movie, though I look like neither.

Robert Duvall- Though he'd have to be a lot younger, he's just that honest, do it all kind of guy, and a great actor. My two cents.
