I've got an inversion table and I love it. I had sore back issues that kept me from sleep, but nothing I went to the doctor for. I bought the inversion table and it helped a lot. Since then, I've been back in the gym quite a bit and strength training has helped more than anything w/ my back, I don't even use the inversion table anymore. I know your medical issue is different, but it was effective for me.
