I've got a question for you.

As you all know sometimes reality sucks. I had a though earlier today about escaping reality. Mine is being in my Jeep down in my home town and chilling with my friends and family. So What is your escape?

Taking a ride doorless, riding my dirt bike, chilling with friends, and basketball.

I've always wanted to go hunting, just never made the time to do so. I love to go fishing.. I haven't been enough this year.

It's fun, haven't seen a deer since two seasons ago though. The hogs are scaring them off. But you know what they say, a bad day in the woods is better than a good day at the office/desk/etc.

I hear that. I've run out of good places to fish around here. Once you think you have a good spot, someone else comes in and fishes it out or something like that.

A Honda crf 150f. I'm 6'1 so it's kinda small. I was going to go up to a 230/250 but I spend all my cash on my jeep. Hope I can get something bigger before too long. What about you?

To the OP...I'd say my escape is simply anywhere except work....but what I really love most is carving up mountain singletrack on my dualsport.

Oh man...6'1" on a 150f is rough....Not sure what kind of riding you are into but I would look at a WR250f or CRF250x. I ride a DRZ400 but have had plenty of bikes in the past (and I'm only 5'5" 135lbs btw.)

My dad owns some land we use for all that. It's not all that much but I like it. A river runs through it and some friends own the land right next to us so as long as we don't mess with his cows he let's us fish on his land.

Mostly trail riding. It's not fast enough (and I'm way to awkward on that small bike) to race her. As soon as I have the cash I'm going to look for a 250. Until then the 150 will have to do.

I mostly ride on my dads place. But flat, wet, and humid pretty much sums up the whole state. Actually managed to get my bike stuck in a swamp once.

I cant wait for this fall because I will finally get to see it live...there is a race coming to Everett in Sept. I believe. That said I was lucky enough to go to 2 of the MX Nationals this year (Hangtown and Washougal). I grew up in northern MN and I tried to make it to the Millville National yearly.

I just can't believe the depth of talent in the 250 class this year....between tomac, barcia, roczen, and baggett every week is a surprise....especially southwick 2nd moto when tomac charges from like 39th place back to make a pass on baggett and then clips the tree on buckley berm and goes down....the racing is just so awesome....wish I could say that about 450 but with stewart out, dungey just ran away with it

Yea, he has 32 acres. Some fields in the center surrounded by woods and a swampy area and a fishing hole down the bluff.

Sounds exciting! I tune in for a race here and there, but miss more than I should.

I'm hoping some day I can own a bunch of land out away from the general population. Just so I can have a nice escape from reality anytime I go down the driveway

If you get the chance, go for it! Sometimes I wish I could live out on the property.

I was missing alot more of it due to the stupid television schedule they put together by splitting it between NBC Sports and Fuel TV (which I don't even get btw)....then they never replay the races and show them at obscure times in the middle of the night sometimes.

Once I found this I was elated because all of the full length 2012 races are there and there are no commercials...watch at your leisure.

Taking a drive, hitting up a decent fishing spot, or spending a day on the couch with a video game. That last one is what I do when I want a "brainless" day. Haha!
