Jeep Comanche question

A good friend of mine is looking into getting a Comanche (MJ). He wants to lift it and the whole deal but I looked on Qtec and 4wd and neither of them list a Comanche as a vehicle they have parts for (probably because it wasn't very popular) I want to know can you put an XJ lift on a MJ?

its is exactly the same as an XJ,,, I had own two XJ and been on many of their forums before switching the JK,,, the only real difference between the stock set up of the MJ and the XJ is the rear shackles of the MJ are 1" longer due to the truck bed.. besides that they r identical

So a majority of the parts are interchangeable?

Great, thanks. Is the Comanche SUA? If so would he be able to go SOA or would that just jack up the back and leave the front really low?

I had a Comanche truck for a while. It was awesome. This was back in the mid 90s but I remember there being a whole crew of people on the web turning them into mud crawlers and keeping up with the XJ crowd.

My buddy wants to turn it into a good trail rig. Any ideas on what it would take to go SOA in the rear and keep the front level with the rear?

As long as you don't start arguing with your self you're ok.
