I attached a pic of the boxes I've kept, I'll try to get a pic of my set up sometime soon. Its nothing special, just thought it might be fun to share and see what some other people are rockin'
Looks like an awesome Gaming System to me. XP=experience points. Got it. I guess I've been a little out of the gaming realm lately. Thanks for the update fella's.

Well crap. Bought the latest Humble Bundle to basically get Batman Arkham City. I already had Batman Arkham Asylum as well as F.E.A.R 2 & 3 and the LOTR game. I thought I didn't have Arkham City....wrong. So I basically paid $5 for the Scribblenauts game. Not bad considering it's normally $20. But I thought I was doing it for a game I thought I didn't have. lmao. First world problems. I have so many games on Steam I can't even keep track.

So if you have Steam and want a free game post your steam name here and what game you want. I'll do one game per person at first. If there isn't much interest after tonight then i'll do first come first served on the rest tomorrow.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
F.E.A.R. 3
The Lord of the Rings: War in the North

Ok I take some of that back. It appears when it told me that I already had the game when redeeming the code it was either in error and I didn't have it but now I do...or I already had it and it said I already had it and now I can't gift it away...either way Batman: AC isn't available but the rest still are

This is exactly why I stopped playing games on PC. Every time a new game came out I ended up spending hundreds of dollars upgrading something to play it.

Wait a minute... I own a Jeep Wrangler. Nevermind.

Rockstar is going to be dropping $500,000 into the in-game online accounts to everyone who so much as logged into the online GTA V world. Stimulus package to hit your online profile in the next 2 days. Now I can get a wicked pad to do the bigger missions.

Sometimes with gaming it feels like I’m always just waiting on the next big game to come out. I can’t wait for GTA V, and now with blizzcon over the weekend I’m excited for Heroes of the Storm, even if the release date is “soonish(er)”. I was excited for BF4, but it’s just a slightly better BF3 really. It’s decent but nothing new. I still feel like the series peaked at Bad Company 2.
Anyway, I took a pic of my setup over the weekend.

Self Built PC
MSI z77a-g45 gaming MB
3750 i5 3.4 ghz quad core
gskill razer 16gb ram
256gb sata 3 ssd

Corsair 800w psu
Zalman mid tower case

Peripherals

Logitech g13 gamepad
Logitech g700s mouse
Razer Naga epic mouse (not currently using)
Logitech g19 keyboard
Xbox 360 controller
Denon AH-D2000 headphones

Man... to me, BF4 is a huge leap from 3. The ranking system/unlock system is amazing, no more weapons specific to each side, everyone is on a very even and level playing field, the destruction was cranked up and the maps were opened up. Graphics werent that huge of an update, but they did get a bit better.

I'll agree that the destruction git turned up a notch. Also the game play is much more vertical, I do like the maps better, but a couple of the rush maps are complete garbage and unbalanced. The shipwreck one may be the worst fps experience I've ever had.

Rush was by far my favorite mode in BC2, and it has been lacking in BF3 and 4. Probably why I am disenchanted with the franchise.

I was out of the gaming world for a while, but scored some killer newegg deals during new years 2013 and built my first desktop since 2007.

Quick specs:
GeForce GTX 660ti 2gb
700w power supply
Gigabyte GA-970A-D3
1TB Seagate HD
AMD FX-8350 cpu
G.Skill Sniper 16gb (2x8gb) DDR3 1866

Throughout the year been banging out games I missed during my time away and some new ones:

Borderlands 1 and 2 (2 might just be the best game I've ever played. Me and a friend plowed through the entire thing on co-op. We still need to run through it again)
Saints Row the Third (Again, co-oped it with the same friend which makes is just hilarious)
Farcry 3 Blood Dragon
Farcry 3 (story was kinda weak but game was a blast, I'd play it again it was so good.)
Dirt 3
COD MW2 (The best if you ask me, was hooked on COD4 for months back when that was released, if MW2 wasn't filled with cheaters and hackers I'd still be playing. Ended up putting over 170 hours into multiplayer.)
COD MW3
Red Faction: Armageddon
Red Faction: Guerilla
Torchlight 2

Probably left a couple short ones out or weren't managed with Steam so I can't easily recall.

Been a good gaming year so far. Still got a handful to play, picked up a shit ton throughout the year with Steam sales.

Currently I'm completely hooked in Skyrim. Only thing I'm playing currently and loving it.

Ive never quite understood the complete fascination with BC2. I liked it, but didnt love it. I think it had just the same amount of issues that BF3 and 4 had. Each had its positives and negatives.... well except between 3 and 4 which seems like 4 is just an upgrade/fix to 3.

To me... the all time best large map FPS was Delta Force 3. Best all around sim FPS was Americas Army and the best in between was Rainbow 6.
CoD was never anything more than a modern times Halo (cant comment on W@W since I never played it). All that bunny hoping, unrealistic reloading and gunfire... just BS, even if I had some good times playing it with friends.

HA... now I cant stop thinking of AA. Reminding myself of having to spend all that time actually learning things like triage in order to be a medic, stealth to be specops, precision to be sniper. Honestly if that had that level of realism with the maps/size of BF4... id be in heaven.

Use to have a strict gaming puter, it sux always adding new parts to it like a high end graphics card with memory. Its way easier to buy a gaming console and save to build up my Jeep. The new consoles have almost the same technology that high end puters have with a fraction of the cost. Trust me I loved playing my PC games, buy damn it sucked upgrading!

I had to put my games away in a cupboard and out of sight. I kept staring at them which made it seem like the clock was moving in reverse.

Looks like a good list bigmanandy. I've played most of those. MW2 was a great game, but the "community " went to hell.

It does get tedious. I bought a Dell xps rig 6/7 years ago or so. About half way through that I spent $300 on new gpu cards. But other than that, the machine has been a beast. I recently built a new machine but it really wasn't necessary. That xps can still play BF4, just not on my 27" monitor.
