Jet Ski

Any owners here on WF? I just got mine running, '95 Kawi 750cc. New motor and drive line, not yet broken in, so couldn't open it up all the way. Is this big enough for a wakeboard? I can't wait for next year, weekends off, Jeep and Jet Ski to play with... I'm thinking I may still be able to go next month, if we don't have a lot of coldfronts hit...(I am a cold water sissy). No pics yet, I took my camera last weekend, but was too busy playing...How about y'all?

Funny, we refer to those things as Lake Lice up here on Lake Erie, cuz they are everywhere and they are a huge PITA!!! We have a few idiots kill themselves on them every year, but they never learn! I've ridden a few, but they are too much like motorcycles for me, too easy to fall off of! I need something that requires less balance!

BTW, must be nice, just getting it going in September! People are starting to put boats away for the season up here! The lake gets cold quick up here, Erie is really shallow. But there is plenty of hardcore fishin to do yet, so not all the boats go into storage after Labor Day, just all the ski boats, etc..

That would be awesome! While it was fun ripping around the lake, it kind of got boring after a while, by my self. Just like bike riding, or JEEPing, it's always more fun to share! The folks have two kayaks for the same reason, but they just couldn't keep up!

Lake Erie is great, the wheeling here is nearly non-existent, but we do have a bitch of a winter every few years, and we are about due for some serious snow this year. However, I am only about 30 minutes away from some of the freakiest Lake Effect snow you can imagine! Somedays when I get 2 inches, Parma will get 18! In one day! And then get clobbered AGAIN the next day!

Aww, I was just kidding, it takes a lot more than a picture for me to hate someone, especially if they are a Jeeper!

they really arent that hard to stay on, esp once you get some speed goin. the smaller 2 seaters are the hardest ones to keep balance, most of the big ones now days a grown person can stand on one side while its not moving and it wont even flip. i absolutely love these things. small and fast = i like bein able to jump the wake which is why i'm not a big fan of the huge 3 seaters
