Spyderco Endura ZDP189 for my EDC. Man, does it hold an edge.
When working outside, I carry a Cold Steel folding Bushmaster...the more I use and abuse it, the more I appreciate it.

I normally carry my Benchmade 300sn. I've gotten close to buying the Endura several times but still haven't. My beater knife is my Rat 1. Great quality for the price!

Have a few benchmade autos for work
Normally carry a boker+ tanto when not working... But keeping my eye open for my next edc.

Been known to carry a Gerber LMF II on my kit pretty regularly. Sometimes a Kabar Becker bk3 brute (Flat point is useful for... things). A wedgie pry bar when I don't have the brute(kinda a knife ?).

Usually carry a Scrap Yard Knife Co 511 when huntin or knockin around in the woods

I like the spyderco H1 blades for everyday carry. A 4 inch blade should do just about anything you need it to do. I usually carry two, one for general chores and one dedicated to serious matters that may come up. The key to any knife is sharpness. So as soon as you can get a quality sharpening system and learn how to use it. I'm a bit of a knife whore with quite a few that are used for different purposes.

I've always wanted to give the H1 steel a shot. I just ordered a new beater blade. It's a BRK Esee Zancudo. It's a collaboration of RAT and Esee knives.

My edc is a microtech utx-70 and an hk but my collection consists of a microtech ultratech, a spyderco citadel (for work), a sog auto, and an hk. I have a thing for auto knives and they eat up almost as much money as my jeep lol. I also have some assisted kershaws.

My EDC is Large Sebenza 21 Raindrop Damascus. I use a Large Sebenza Insingo for yard chores. My BBQ knife is a Large "Regular" Sebenza with a nice swedge in the blade - haven't used it yet though.

I have around 25 EDC knives I rotate, but the Kershaw Cyclone gets the most carry time.

It's not that I need an auto but the Spyderco is my most stout and durable knife that I have, so I use it. I work in a machine shop and am constantly using it so I needed a reliable sharp knife.

I thought autos were illegal in most states, except under certain circumstances ?

As of 9-1-13, Texas law allows auto knives for everyone.

In Virginia you can buy them but cannot carry them concealed.

Have you guys heard about the BRK Esee Zancudo? The guys from Rat and Esee came together to make this one and BRK is the producer I believe.

Mine should arrive pretty soon. The black and stonewashed along with the Knifeworks exclusive orange handle and stonewashed.

Esee Zancudo came in faster than expected thanks to BladeHQ

And for the money, this is an excellent knife so far!

Started seriously collecting last year. My collection isn't large yet, and has very few folders(didn't start carrying them until this year).

-My EDC is an ontario RAT1. Eventually I want to upgrade to a nice spyderco or benchmade. It's probably not the best example, but I bought a spiderco bug from their insect series as a keychain knife. And that little bugger(pun intended) is SHARP. I actually use it over my RAT1 for piercing cuts.
-Ka-bar short USMC. I EDC'ed this for a few months, but i prefer the low-profile folder.
-Both the 4" and 6" variants of the Bear and Son bowie-style Balisong. Love these knives, I got a 6" one last year but lost it. Accidentally ordered the 4" one but kept it and re-ordered the 6".
-my prized possession and also the most money I've spent on a knife is my Cold Steel Trailmaster. This knife is a beast, and I'm never without it when I do outdoor work. It's more heavy and cumbersome than I originally thought, but thanks to it I'll never need a hand axe back in the woods.

I also have a few cheapo knives and a couple of those Chinese-made Winchester knives. Actually, the Winchester bowie that you can get from Walmart for 15 bucks is what got me into big knives. It sits in my jeep between the console and driver seat as a "thief greeter"
On the wish list is a Ka-bar Kraton handled tanto. And a nicer folder to EDC.

In Kentucky we don't have a CCW. We have a CCDW. It includes autos, along with just about anything else. I always have my Boker Kalashnikov auto with me. I use it every day for work. Easy one handed operation. It didn't cost a ton, but like I said, it's a work knife. I guess I've got my money's worth out of it, since I've been carrying it for over 5 years. I have others that are a little more expensive, but they rarely leave the house. I carry a K-Bar Little Finn sometimes too, but that isn't exactly a pocket knife.

Florida has pretty good CCW laws as well. Not sure if they extend to autos, but doesn't really matter to me.

I've just never found a great use for an auto and growing up I was lead to believe they're not looked upon fondly by the law. I can open 90% of my non auto folding knives with one hand. And if I can't, I don't carry them.

The few autos I've been issued usually stay clipped to molle on my kit or in an obscure pocket of my bag for 'just incase I break my other several knives or need to lend one out'. Customs has even snagged a couple of them as I was re entering the US. Apparently now we have to rubberband our deployment orders to them or a signed statement by our unit commander.

I'd like to meet the customs guys who have been taking them (not an isolated thing with just me). I'm sure they just wanted them, but come on.

Carry an older Spyderco, about 15 years old, don't remember the model number. I have a few other knives, but the Spyderco is just right for me. Did just order a 5.11 Alpha Scout Folder. G10 handles, AUS 8 blade steel.
