Happens to me all the time but I always end up thinking it over and over. Usually I'll double-check myself and then later be like: did I actually check that or did I only think about checking that?

I think they call it OCD...
Have i checked that yet?
Maybe I should check that out...
Joking. Hahaha!

It would be difficult to see to gauge channels while driving

My glove box is too small, unless you have a picture of how someone did it, I don't think I would even know where to begin

I don't know about your model Jeep, but I'd want to mount a CB under my CD player (to the bottom of the dash) - but my Jeep is a YJ... So the dash is probably different than yours..
Never know. He might like being hit in the face by the cord..

Hmm... I'll have to look at pictures of a TJ interior...

Do you have a problem drilling anywhere in particular?
Oh... And is your TJ a manny or auto? - could make a big difference on hand-avalability. Haha!

Very good point. Bough hopefully you wouldn't have to do too much channel switching while driving.

I'd say glove box or on top of the dash, over the air vents... But that's me.
... Having all of that plastic dash would make it tough...
