Here ya go.
War Eagle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

We have a few Eagles that still fly before each home game. They release them at the top of the stadium and they circle around then swoop down to mid-field.

Wait... So your battle cry is about an eagle that took flight during a game and yet died? Was it during that same flight that it died? Sorry... I'm not downing the "war eagle" cry or anything... But if the eagle died... Hmmm... So where does "roll tide" come from then?

This. I think l it's one of those "micro brewery" things so you might not have it where you are... But its a seasonal beer and it's pretty good!
Shock top is tasty! Boulevard wheat is the local brewry here, i quite enjoy it, you should try it if you ever get a chance (i dunno the range of their distribution).

Haha! Indeed! Have you had (or the opportunity to try) Blue Moon? I like their beers... But of the seasonals out right now Shock Top is definitely a winner. ... I'll have to look in to Boulevard... I think I've seen it in some places around here...

“Roll Tide” was said to illustrate the Alabama varsity running on the field. It was said the team looked like the tide was rolling in thus gaining the chant “Roll Tide.”
