Never too late to upgrade...Xbox 360's are pretty cheap now. The game is $79 if you already have a guitar.

I've always wanted to learn. My dad used to play a lot when I was a kid. I'm really good at guitar hero and Rockband, lol

That IS true. I used to have the arcade version of the 360 (for like a month - never owned a game) but gave it to my buddy because his red-ringed on him and I couldn't fix it. I originally got the 360 from someone because they thought it red-ringed on them but it turned out it just needed a new power supply. Haha! Now I regret giving it away.

Hahaha! I'm a PRO at Rockband! Funny thing is - I'm only good at the drums.
So are you going to take the opportunity with the game to learn how to play? Do you already have a guitar?

Guess who Just asked for the 2.5" Coil Springs rather than the 2" Coil Spacers!? THIS GUY!!! And I got my head bit off....:-( Anyways, nothing happened with the decals, they didn't ban me, just told me I had to sign up for a Commercial Account...So I did, and I forced a Mod meeting tonight because There are people selling stuff similar to they way I was doing it, and their posts weren't being removed...

VERY expensive! Plus, you have to do lots of further modifications to get them to be like the videos. Sounds like something else we're all obsessed with, eh?

I'm buying my stuff pieces at a time off of bricklink.com
Actually JUST got a confirmation for my first order to be shipped out tomorrow! I had a second order placed with another vendor, but it's significantly larger and I haven't heard from them yet... Total cost so far: just under $100 (and only PAID $12 so far)... and I've got just about everything I need to make this:
Trial Jeep « Nico71's Creations

The closest actual kit I could find to this design was about $250-350 (depending where I looked) and they didn't have the differential axels, lockers and doesn't have as good of suspension. I feel accomplished so far.

I'maaaaa maaaaaaaake a J-truuuuuck!

Btw, I wasn't trying to start trouble for the others selling similar to me, but rather make a point, and keep the playing field level

If that was directed towards me at all - I know. No worries. You're good man.
All I'm saying is I never OFFERED to SELL anything. Actually, no one's even arranged any sort of "payment" with me. I just don't want to pay shipping for my gifts to my friends - my fellow Late Nighters. Hahaha!

Still, it sucks. Supposedly theres a guy with some property he set up for wheeling somewhere around Nevada (east of Ames) but I can;t seem to find/contact the guy - I even have managed to get his phone number from a JOCCI member but I don't ever get an answer...

Good luck Dustin!!! I'm rooting for ya'!

Yeah the j trucks look cool... S10s not so much lol.

You have a valid point, there is/was a double standard for others selling their homemade stuff.

No worries dude.

BTW: I finally heard from the vinyl guy I know and he quoted us $2300 for a full wrap.

Yeah. I understand he does it as a side business but the material alone is $840, and that's for matte black, no design or anything.
