HOW?!
I needed to attend the school you went to... I'm pretty sure my University required EVERY engineering related major to take all the way up to diffy Q...

... Diffy Q is the reason I got out of engineering...

Why it's here in the States, I have no idea. But it'd be great if they offered it. Dana 60 rear with leaf springs and an LSD, Dana 44 front, diesel engine with an intake designed to survive a 5 hour severe sandstorm, no carpet, hardly any electronics (no radio, ESP, etc.), steel wheels, reinforced frame IIRC, etc.

Very nice.

There are a lot in ciaro, it was at Chrysler HQ, so it could be there for numerous reasons, just remember if they come out with a J8 i was the first to say something on here!!

I don't know... I didn't look at prices... Just people's builds and stuff. I wouldn't want to convert a Wrangler into a truck anyways.
1. Wouldn't want to "ruin" a Wrangler (Now if someone did that to a JKU...)
2. I want the real thing - hence why I have a J-truck.

The Jeep J8, a beefed-up Wrangler Unlimited assembled in Cairo, was created awhile back for fleet use by governments and other agencies, for use in demanding conditions; there is a high-roof ambulance version as well as the standard roofless and hard-top J8. While Chrysler has generally shown the J8 with four doors, a two-door version could also be useful in some applications. The J8′s predecessor had two doors with the extended wheelbase, for a similar profile.

Hahaha! Same here... I've gotten ONE wave from ONE JKU (Yeah, I wave a JKUs ) and that was because I honked at him as I waved. I did get a wave out of a YJ today driving home from work in my J-truck! ... Though I was stopped at a light and saw him right behind me so I turned around and waved at home until he waved back... hahaha!
I'm surprised he didn't get it quicker because he was staring at a big @$$ tailgate with "JEEP" plastered across it.

I believe that's what those are. Jeep sold military grade LJs as well.

But in any event, here's a good video that shows the 2 door J8:

Unfortunately, AEV never did end up selling them in the States. Too expensive, too much red tape, etc. They had to be built as kits and the like.

Here's one of the official promo vids:

Hahaha! I already do that to Hummers.

True story - I did that to one in town and the guy got a HUGE grin on his face and eagerly waved back at me. Then he got close enough to see and immediately frowned and stopped waving.
