That IS really strange... Especially that it's happening to all of them. No heat is no good. Have you made sure the cowels aren't all plugged up with ice or snow or anything?

My J-truck's heat is lousey - though I still do have quite a bit of weatherstripping to replace... But my YJ can be warm-ish inside within a few minutes (or maybe closer to 5-10minutes haha!). Though the first day I got her running I let her run for about 30 minutes and the heat was pretty weak. I started breaking all of the ice off of the cowel and hood and stuff and the next time I jumped in it felt significantly warmer...

You still end up with a rubber housing and a 55w bulb. The ones at wal mart are chrome 6 inch housings and 100w for 15 bucks done deal

The aircraft landing lights are a lot more, give me a few I'll get you numbers, though 15 bucks is a great deal, I don't like chrome housing lol

Edit: They were talking about the Par36 bulb on that thread, is the picture of the aircraft bulbs or of walmart bulbs? You got a link to these walmart housings? I might buy some lol

That's how Agnes is. Can't get her to stop blowing warm air - doesn't ever get "hot" - unless the fan is completely off.

And no A/C in either Jeep. Haha!

Not cold enough here for that stuff, dry as a bone, it is only 35 tonight! Temps over the next 10 days vary from 26-38 at night and 45-55 during the day, and dry, so no ice and such

These are from the aircract link you posted page 3.

The walmart off-road lights are on walmarts web sight. They a are 100% kc knock offs. You can't tell the differance.

Put a kc cover on and no one would ever know. The aircrafts are cool I just dont like the rubber housing with a hot 100w bulb

Strange! Well... Then I'm not sure what's going on with the, then. Though I find if veeeeery strange that they ALL aren't working - makes me want to believe there's a common problem. Did you talk to your grandpa and ask if it was working before? What about the other ones?

Hahaha! Agreed! Mine don't even have the option. The YJ has a slider from "cool" to "warm" but the "cool" setting is just a vent that lets air in from the outside.

I picked up 6 inch 100w pilots from autozone for 50$ then put 55w h3s in and use them for driving lights

I know it was working before, his has a totally different problem, his engine won't warm up at all, barely gets above cold, and I drove it about 15 miles. I will check over his in the morning since I have the truck for the day. He is to ill now a days to work on his vehicle, was hard last night seeing him in bed on oxygen, he made me get all teary eyed, he kept telling me how proud he was and how great of a job I have been doing with my life...if he only knew I haven't checked over the wife's, hers might be air in the coolant lines, not sure. Mom's is a forgotten issues, it works for the most part now, and she is selling the Van in 2 weeks to carmax lol. My jeep however, will sit just below 210 and make my feet cold from the air coming out. If only I could find a write up on removing my dash, so I can look behind it, I need to do some work back there anyways

Can anyone do me the favor and explain VIAIR air systems? Not the company or brand but the purpose and use of them.

Thanks for any responses.

I don't really care for AC. I'd rather roll the windows down. In my 74 I removed the AC pump. It's just extra weight lol. It's nice to have in my Jeep though. For when I have a girl with me and she wants the AC on. Though I will have to remember to clean the vents occasionally. One time I let my sister use the Dodge and she was like "your damn truck spit dust all over me!" She turned the AC on and the vents had dust built up lol.

Basically it is a stand alone air system for air lockers and tire inflation. Basically On Board Air

And this is my 7000th post!
