Also... Do you live in MO or CA? The plates in the picture are throwing me off... Haha!
I'm not sure yet about paint. I'm not going to worry about looks until after all the other stuff is done to make it run better/faster. The body is in pretty good shape except the dent on the front driver side fender which can probably be straigtened up easily. Or if needed i'll replace the fender when the time comes to do body work/paint. I was thinking about going with red...maybe have it match the Jeep lol.

My dad's K10 is the brown/tan two tone. And no I wasn't stuck...I was just temporarily immobile!!! >.>

That was tranny fluid I think. She doesn't leak now after the rebuild.

Sorry James - just read this... Yeah, they make units like that already. We used to have one in our boat for filling up tubes and what-not. They work okay-ish for stuff like tires (had to fill a trailer tire with it one time) but take forever for jobs like that.

I think, Like Shawn said, the ones Boss was talking about are more heavy duty and would need to be mounted and wired into place... Or you could make some sort of disconnect system so that you could move it - but I can image it'd be a PITA to move and set up...

I have a $100 napa one now. It fits in a bag and has clips like jumper cables. It will do my 4 35 inch bfgs in 20 min. 10psi to 35psi

Ill prob go Co2 though.

I wonder what helium would do? Think they would make a 100 pound wheel and tire any lighter? Lol

I keep one of these in my Jeep. Small and powerful enough to fill up tires. Not the fastest but it also doesn't take up a lot of space.

Amazon.com: Q Industries MF-1035 Santa Ana Portable High Volume 12V Air Compressor: Automotive

Makes sense on the paint. I don't plan on doing any actual painting until I get more of the other work done myself either. But I find myself getting bored and drawing up different paint schemes or thinking about what I want her to look like in the end. I get ahead of myself.

Ooooooh, boy! I like those K10s too...

To the bolded: Uh huh... Suuuuuuuure.... I'd believe it but it IS a RAM.
Joking! I only make the joke because I actually had to pull a same if not similar model RAM (was solid white too) some guy was using as a "Plow Truck" (didn't have his plow down at the time though) out of a drift that I then continued to drive through in the J-truck.

Ahhh! Interesting! Hello from Iowa!
How close are you to the north border?

Get the alternator bracket that lets you mound under the alternator. You can keep your A/C just run a longer belt

unless the helium reacts to the heat friction and expansion that occurs.. could in theory cause a blowout.
cool experiment though for sure.
