Never been much for the one night stands. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever had a one-nighter. They always keep comin' back for more.

ARGH! Sorry, I MEANT 302 when I said 304 (I think she has a Buick 304 in her now). My bad.

That thing looks awesome though! Is everything in pretty good condition as she sits? Or are you about in the same boat as me with my Buick?

Other than being dirty from sitting for years the interior is not bad at all looking. Looks like someone at one point was working on it. The seats have been redone at some point with a matching red and white scheme. A lot of the metal trim pieces are taken off but I have them all in the trunk. I'll probably also do some drivetrain work. Beef up the suspension to handle going from a I6 to a V8. Probably throw a heavier duty axle in the rear. Maybe add some power steering lol

Yeah. I want to say a '78 but not completely sure. My dad has been letting someone keep it there "temporarily". Which has been several years now. My dad told the guy to put it somewhere else but he hasn't come for it or done anything with it. I'm pretty sure my dad considers it his now. Want to buy it? hahaha

That's awesome to hear about the interior!

Sounds like your pretty set. Just need a little time and a few drivetrain components! Haha! I'm hoping that someone has come up with some sort of disc brake conversion/upgrade for old Buicks.. Otherwise I'll probably have to get a new rear axle as well.

Oh wow... Sorry I didn't pick up on that until now.

I need to get it, myself! Actually, there's quite a few movies and what-not I want to get... But I keep spending all of my money on the Jeeps!

$100 and I'll come get it! I'd like to put a ZZ-572 & a Powerglide in it.

For now it's just sitting. Won't work on it for quite awhile. Not until the Jeep is where I want it. Then the Chevy is next. Then the Ford lol.

Haha! You have quite the little project cue going there! I suppose I'm not much better... Got the YJ and J-truck I'm constantly working on and the Buick - which who knows when I'll officially start working on.

Just officially placed my order... Ouch...
Removed the LP mount from the order though - figured for $20, my LP can stay where it is. Haha!

Need to get rid of some too. Also have a '74 Jaguar XJ6 with a 350 and I had that black '76 Monte Carlo you can see in one of the pics of the Ford. The Monte Carlo I let my uncle haul it off and scrap it. I just kept the 350 in it. Still need to sell the Jag. It's pre smog in cali and a little too nice still to just part out.

I'm ok with Chevy motors in Jeeps. But Dodges, Fords and Chevys should all have their own imo lol. The rest I don't care as much about

DANG! Why did you let him scrap the 350?! Was it a bad engine? I would've at least pulled the guts out of her before scrapping!

'74 Jag?! That's insane! How did you manage to get that in the first place?

x2. AMC engines are actually my favorite engines out of all I've worked with - not that I've worked on TONS of engines or anything... But AMC's are just designed more logically (for the person working on them) and are MUCH tougher than any of the "Big 3." (this is a fact - look up the makeup of the blocks and other materials used for various engine parts)

I don't understand when people do stuff like THIS though...

I mean, to each his own... But I just don't get it.

No I kept the 350. The transmission was shot. And it being a '76 in cali meant it would have to be smogged even if I fixed it. It was just sitting at my parent's house taking up space so I let him haul it off and keep the money from the scrap and I kept the motor.

The Jag I found on craigslist over in San Jose. He wanted 3k and I took it for 2.4k. I had it repainted

Have any of y'all seen this?!

The Cj definitely lost the 1/4 mile, but KILLED the Vette in the 1/8 mile! That's insane!
