...would it be wrong to think (easy there people) about embedding a steel plate in my rear roof to be able to slap my caution strobe on?

Wouldn't the roof be to thick for a magnetic strobe to take hold?

Could you possibly put a piece of metal on the inside and have the magnet go through the top. That way you don't have to drill into your top?

I tried it... and the magnets held a little, but not enough. might have to look at a fabrication from the spare tire carrier up to above the roof line... something removable...maybe with a couple bolts, or a strap around the tire it'self...

She wants a Jeep, she wants to learn to fly (which I support..'cuz if I have a heart attack while we are airborne, I want her to be able to take over) my guess is we will see her smiling face here before too long...

She's getting ready to lay claim to the 1200 Sportster... since she already claimed one of my Harley shirts to sleep in...and told me my well worn ones were disgusting...

I'm in trouble...

Geeze...can I trust you guys around her?
