Save a little more money?

50 bucks a week and you'll be ready for a set of some GOOD tires in a couple months!

Why replace a 2.5?
I just saw a 4.0, ax-15, and 231, all for $1200. And that was just the asking price on CL. Could probably get it for 900-1k

Well lets list why

#1 Emergency Replacement
#2 That $1000 for a 4.0 and ax-15...what is the motors condition? Come with wiring harness Distributor, etc?
#3 I don't have tons of money to throw away. I actually like my 2.5L

Well, you're upgrading your engine and trans two things more reliable.
And it was complete with everything.
Guy did a v8 swap so you had all you needed. IIRC, it had 102k, which is nothing for a 4.0.
1k for trans and motor isn't tons of money. Thats a damn good deal.

But, I am always looking for a bigger engine, bigger tires, bigger axles, all that stuff.
If I destroy my 4.0, going right to a v8!

I've loved my MT/Rs for deep snow, mud, you name it but I want the longer treadlife DuraTs which are cheaper in 35s than the MT/R 33s.
