He's the badass of the bunch! ....never thought they'd turn out THIS fun. Those three are now, almost 13, almost 12, and 9. I have a daughter, too, and another son in the oven (figuratively, of course).

Jen... dancers are injured more collectively than explosively. they fail to stretch properly over a period of time...either with "hurry up" or with bad technique... gotta watch the body positions during stretching and warm ups...they get sloppy...

yeah... they use bad positioning during warmup... and over a period of time the little tears start...

the warm up should be 110 to 120 percent of the r.o.m. that the the performance requires. they are all very attentive to position when dancing...that is when the instructor is paying attention and demanding good line. but they get sloppy in stretching... and it gets them hurt.

it would be a really good specialization for you! there is stuff to be carried into all athletics...

Wow, actually sounds really interesting. One of my friends did an internship with the NYC ballet ... And now she works at Disneyland with the performers! Where did I go wrong... lol

X1000

If I had the resources that are available today I wouldn't hurt as much now. And who knows what I could have done??

A really good PT is so much better than an Ortho-knifer, really.

"Sweet Baby" loved being fussed over. She's 5, and hopefully next week, will be re-born with MY last name. Her "donor" signed the papers......finally. Could you imagine giving THIS away?
