LOL... yea I remember those. P.I. (but mostly Thailand) they sucker the big macho meatheads into the ring and then kick the crap outa them. It's hilarious mostly, but once a squad didn't like their buddy getting beat up so much...tore the place apart. Restricted to ship the rest of the port.

Oh, and the ice cold Thai Whiskey on a hot a$$ day... Only time I ever got so drunk I couldn't talk. The Thai people are some of the nicest people in the world.

we enjoyed all that asia had to offer except "contact"...

i can guarantee that we brought nothing home we could't either cook or play with...

our "civilians" were hot so restricted... took an O3 and some O1 into cambodia one time... none of them knew how to wear the uniform... 2 of the 1's were crabbing about.. well maybe crabs... and they were headed in for 40 - 45 days...

It's nice to hear old sea stories about these places. I miss travelling around the world on ship, or in the air. It's always an interesting story in these places. I'd say that although you won't hear any crazy stories involving farm animals or "unique ways to make change for a dollar", the Seychelles was one of the best stops ever. Offshore fishing in the morning, cooking your tuna or marlin right on the beach, & a ton of cold brews all for about $50.

Nothing wrong with releasing the inner child once in awhile.

When I was young... it was all about sex, drink and how late you could stay up.

Now that I'm old it's all about food and how early I can go to bed...
