Very mild and very lean, does not taste like wild meat at all. Haven't ate it I forever tho.

Hi Tosh,

Not hard to live in the woods here. My old man lives 30 min away from Seattle. Has 20 acres, 5 horses, had a big bore black bear eat all his dogs food on his porch. I stuck a 6x6 bull In his back yard

Theres a pond in my neighborhood that is the home to a few gators. If I get a strong craving for some I can go there and usually find 'em. But if I want some I usually go to the fish camp and get it there. They fry up a mean gator tail.

If I want deer all I gotta do is drive home at the right time of night and usually I can find some. The hardest part about getting those deer is hitting 'em with the jeep before they run back into the woods.

Email I just received. Our country cutting spending where it really needs it...

Leaders,

Due to the current fiscal challenges, the Secretary of the Army has approved the suspension of Tuition Assistance (TA) effective 1700 EST Friday, 8 Mar 13. The suspension applies to all components and will remain effect until the fiscal situation matures.

Effective 1700 EST 8 Mar 13, Soldiers will no longer be permitted to submit new requests for Tuition Assistance through the GoArmyEd portal. Soldiers currently enrolled and participating in courses approved for tuition assistance are not affected and will be allowed to complete current course(s) enrollment.

Soldiers can continue to access their GI Bill benefits, if applicable (either the Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB) or the Post 9/11 GI Bill), or use another funding sources (i.e. grants, scholarships, or Army National Guard Soldiers using state Tuition Assistance). Soldiers should be encouraged to contact their local education centers for additional information. Updated information will also be posted to www.goarmyed.com

The Army understands the impacts of this decision and will re-assess as the fiscal situation matures.

Wouldn't want to help those who make a country free.
Some times I wonder if the bean counters actually get the true cost of the decisions that they make.
A well rounded soldier is a great asset, and they can pass their knowledge on to others.
This will just make recruitment that much harder.
Politcians and bean counters need to get out more and see the real world.
