RPM is a solid "aftermarket/replacement" parts company... I think a lot of their stuff is warrantied for life as well - so if it breaks you can just send it in and they'll send you a new one.
RPM RC Products On-Line

Another good site is "Tower Hobbies"
Tower Hobbies - Best Source for Radio Control ( R/C or RC ) Cars, Trucks, Airplanes, Boats and Helicopters

Also, "RC Planet"
RC Trucks, RC Cars, RC Helicopters, RC Planes, RC Boats | The Radio Control Store - R/C Planet

Though I'd check RPM's site for anything you can get off there before you go looking other places...
I have no idea.....it's WAAAAAAAY mor complicated than the r/Cs of my youth. The damn controller is digital......craziness!

You should get a good picture of it from the top and sides and I might be able to draw up a list of parts he needs.

I'm doing OK. Working and drinking a lot. Although not usually at the same time. Expecting 5-10in south of me. If I don't have a liquid dinner later I may venture.

Yup. You'd think Floridians would know how to drive in the rain. Seems they think its the end if the world when it starts drizzling.

Haha! How ironic! That's EXACTLY what I broke yesterday on my truck! That's the A-arm mount. I would suggest, as I am doing today, replacing both the front and rear A-arm mounts with Aluminum mounts, and not the plastic ones. It'll take a lot to break those again - though insteat he'll be busting A-arms, but those are A LOT easier to replace - and pretty cheap. But DO NOT replace his A-arms with aluminum... They're too ridig and cause more harm than good if you wreck... I would also get him Aluminum shock towers - though I'd wait until he breaks one before you replace it. With RC it's ALWAYS a good plan to have a replacement part for just about anything on the chassis on hand - unless you have a hobby shop near by. \

And that is one FANCY controller!!! Neither of mine are anywhere near that intense!

Same thing happens here, in Iowa. Haha! It starts raining and everyone forgets how to drive...

Sounds like a good idea to me. That or have him work for it and pay for it himself with saved up allowance. That way he might respect it more
