Yeah it is terrible. I don't think marriage should be legislated period. I don't know.... Love seems personal. That and military spousal benefits are not extended to same sex couples. Married or unioned.

With all of the legal ramifications of marriage, it has to be defined/regulated/legislated by someone...

Really? I don't remember Adam and Eve standing in line at the courthouse for a certificate for some mindless drone's permission to get married?

Probably not since she looked like ..well, Aunt Bea. That pic was from 1934... But..... he could have dreamed. Realistically she really didn't like Andy Griffith during the run of the show.

Really.
On a side note, you're the first person I've ever seen reference the bible, especially the Old Testament, in the promotion of gay rights. Well done, sir

Too much work. Let people bugger who they want as long as they are consenting. Realistically the only thing that should affect couples gay or not is tax breaks and only if you are raising kids and just for that purpose. Otherwise who gives a shit besides people with a burr under their saddle.

I personally only have one biased view on gay couples which is that I don't believe in them raising kids as a. They didn't create them and b. They aren't balanced in male-female roles.

I'll take that as a complement. Marriage comes from the heart and whatever your religious, or unreligious appellations may be. It comes down to what you vow to your "spouse" and vice versa.
