Yes it is, sorry man. I always forget you're blocked.

Fastest I've been on a bike is 204, but that was a very straight road. These guys are nuts.

Those guys are amazing. I would love to just ride that course at a slow pace

Have you seen some of Valentino Rossi's clips on youtube? I love how he almost drifts the bike

I have one of drifting bikes. Nick Brocha and Ernie Vigil, Jim Guthrie supplied the cars. It's a spoof, but damn impressive.

Thanks! Haha! She does absorb the shock a little better than the camera mount - the camera mount is just too chakey... Shakes with my engine, even... But I like being able to have a solid "point of reference" like you get with the camera mount... I think I just need to find a better one. The one I have is meant for a GPS and had to be attached to the door so you could see out the front.

Have you ever heard of Jason Britton?
One if my old roommates was from Huntington Beach and was good friends with him. Josh is the one that got me into sport bikes.
Jason sent us a DVD of "Twisted and all pucked up" before it ever came out. Josh also grew up with Jake Ziemke, we saw him at Road Atlanta and he got us into the pits. I have a poster signed by him. This was before he started riding for team Honda. That was an awesome weekend. Thinking about it makes me wish I still had my gixxer

What kind of chicks do you cruise for at this time of night/morning? Lot Lizards at the nearest truck stop?

Beats the hell out of me?

Sposed to be in the 70's all week. Don't know about you guys but I'm solar powered. I'm happiest outside, today was the first day in lord knows how long I got to go out and get some crap done. I have a long list of crap to do.

One of which is run, get some bolts, come back and work on a fuel rail for a kid that won't look at the car he bought. That's not the problem. The missus needs to go sign papers and insists on going with me or vice/versa. I just want to get crap done, not spend an extra 2 hours I don't need.

The other is Friday. The same kid is enlisting in the reserves and is getting sworn in..Not here..Noooo, 3.5 hrs north in SLC. I don't want to go and not for the reasons she thinks. He's 17, hasn't thought through his options, hasn't even haggled with the recruiters for a decent starting position. Granted he doesn't have the discipline for college so the military would be good for him to screw his head on straight. But I think he's just jumping into a big pond of hurt without Thinking everything through. So basically..I don't want to go and witness what I think is the biggest Effing mistake of his life. The drives okay, I can even put up with the torture of being dragged around by 3 girls for their usual shopping spree/mall hop.

But yeah, I have 2 cars I need to work on..ONE has to go soon so I can build a bed or two for sale. Buff and polish the truck, clean out the 5th wheel camper so both can be sold. Get some yard work done before the weather goes to hell again.

Ooooh... Dude... Rough... Sorry man. Though I can't say I blame you for how you feel about that whole situation. I'd probably feel/want to do the same.

So about 2 weeks ago the MSgt I worked with left but had and still has no replacement taking her spot. So it was just me and the contractor. And now the contractor is being sent home/fired by his boss because of a security incident (taking pictures in a secure area). The military side is saying "we can't lose him right now/don't fire him" but it's not up to them. The company is firing him anyways. I guess his boss has a personal grudge and is using this incident as an excuse to get rid of him. So i'll be running the shop alone now lol. And to top it off the contractor already has 3 other companies very interested in hiring him. So he'll be sent home and in like 4-6 weeks probably be back and making double the money. He said he can't wait until he walks back in and rubs it in the vindictive boss's face

That last part is awesome! I wish I could be there when he walks back in and his boss sees him.

And that's awesome you'll be getting the whole place to yourself! Are you pumped about it?!

Most recruiters these day have a quota of 0 so there isn't really a lot of haggling power to be had.
