Damn...living at high altitude in an alpine desert + high blood pressure = nosebleeds.

I'm actually tempted to sit down and work on my bed and maybe put it up for sale this week.

I can only post 2 at the moment til a pic*s* load of a 3rd. They are all queens. The last pic is the one in the shop I need to finish. Head and foot board will be oil painted panels...mule deer 2, on the head board and canadian geese in flight on the footer.

Pics 1-4 are of the first bed I ever made with no help or instruction. Just figured it out on my own. Worked out of the garage before I got all of the ex's crap out of the shop. Grinding logs down to finish sanding, stain, painting, varnish. Mel...posts are 8" thick. Thats 22cms to you...and each weighs from 4 to 600 lbs.
Pic 5 is in the shop, just took the pic and the one I need to finish as described above.

Also I guess I should get lunch before the chow hall closes. Running the office solo makes the day fly by. Already 1:20pm and haven't ate today. But Love Song came on so i'll go after it's over

Thanks everyone. I couldn't find pics of the one in our Master Bdrm. Its wired with plugs in both head posts and lamps at the tops. The lamp shades are drum set cymbals I shot full of holes and then epoxied broken colored glass into and ground and polished down so no one cut themselves to shreds.

I don't know about shipping, never tried but at weight? I dunno. Head and footboards have to go intact as they are not only bolted but glued together.

Its a 78 with its 3rd engine..only 1200 miles on the new one and upgraded from a half to 3/4 ton.

That bugs the hell out of me. Found 1 detail pic and some of the frame being built and thats it. Mostly I give the things away to family as wedding presents. I've kept two. The one I'm working on I want to sell. Got offered 2200 for it but I think that's a bit much, specially since it isn't even done.
