Yeah, I seem to remember like $1 something, but I got an extra $100 a paycheck for working on the flight deck. And we were getting our $$ tax free.

Word! It's fun!
We do it for them every year - and I've managed to be the one working the night before every year since I've started working here so I've gotten to do it...

28 eggs are hard to hide very well in just one room though... Haha!

Um, I don't think so. Take one of your paychecks and divide it by 364.

Wouldnt be a paycheck you would divide by 364 but your total income for the year divided by the total hours in the year I think. Or not. Not really sure lol

That gets 5.39. But I don't think that's right. What I did was monthly pay divided by monthly work hours.

I think they still get paid 2X per month, unless that has changed. So to find the average you do 24*7=168 Then 168*52=8736 then divide 8736 by 24 and that gives you 364.

Yeah, but you're 'on duty' 24X7 right? Or do you have time to get drunk?

Technically yeah on duty 24/7 because I could be called back to work at anytime if needed. But with my job here it hasn't happened yet. I do my 12 hours and i'm free to do what I want the other 12. Though there's no drinking here

Yeah, if I couldn't have a beer on my off time it wasn't really off time. $5 an hour isn't too bad though!

Patient in emerge got here pulseless...they did 20 mins CPR, epinephrine, shocked the whole shabang... wasn't responding at all...called time of death went to walk away...heart starting pumping again was still on monitors...had a pulse. They started infusions and stuff set him up on vent...10 mins later goes pulseless again..same story again.. call time of death again... and just at they go to disconnect the monitors...heart starts again..pulse again... I'm sorta sticking around expecting he might do this...again. That's crazy tho!!!

That's NUTS! Hopefully it doesn't happen again - but if it does hopefully it'll be the same case as the first two times and he comes back... It'd really be discouraging to save him twice only to lose him later in the day...
