Go me!... but alas I do not have your treasure trove of pictures and jokes. I also don't have Rainys wild stories.

I guess I'll just be me then lol.

Sure we do

I am doing well, thank you for asking. I'm just doing the norm, a few installs, a few backups... if all goes well then I'll sneak away around 0100 or 0200 for a quick cigar break outside. That is what I'm looking forward to today lol

I checked out that 79, and it was far too gone for my liking.
I wish I could find one with a great body and no motor/trans

Yeah, that tends to be the case with a vehicle that is as old as us...

Well keep looking, I'm sure you'll find one soon enough, and NO it won't be mine

I'd love to have a 79 Wagoneer or a J10.
My ideal build would include a 4bt swap with 33x10.5 BFG's
I found one ready to swap in for $1800 from a buddy of mine

In reality, I'm just spending money I don't have

Both of those look GREAT!

You should buy them and give one to me

In all honesty, if you did get a great deal on one why swap the engine for your project (assuming that the engine and drive train still worked really well.) They look so nice, no need to hit the BT

Ah... you posted before I did... $1800... not bad not bad at all.

But that is quite the swap

I've seen people gut these things to swap, and then abandon the project with things get rough... so a wonderful, running, and fully functioning FSJ gets scrapped by someone who wouldn't finish what he started.

I don't think you would stop, hell I KNOW you go through with it ... I've just seen so many projects get destroyed by others

The truck add is from a shop and he says it's had a complete tuneup, new paint, and runs great. I may go check them out when I get off for the week, they're asking $2500-$3000 for each vehicle. I really can't see spending that on one right now, but you never know. If the Honcho is in as good of shape as it appears, well........

I hear that... you'll be skipping a few meals here or there but you'll have a new truck

You don't find too many Honchos around anymore... I don't know the last time I saw one up here, much less for sale.

I've seen a few beat up J-10s, and even one really beat up J4000... but a Honcho

Hell, check it out and see what's what. Perhaps you could talk him down some bucks
