Oh! Nice! I'll be here through the weekend!

It's not too bad so far. Nothing too exciting at least. How's your night going? Any exciting plans? Haha!

It's the ESPN. Hahaha! I'm glad you saw it! It was actually the first thing I thought of when I saw it. Didn't even know I was cut until I saw blood running from my hand to my wrist. The construction of these FSJ doors (at least the early models) makes them horrid to work on...

Aww, man... That sucks - though understandable... You should definitely let me know if you guys end up changing your mind!!

Oh, not a whole lot... been spending my days helping my Dad with brewing and getting supplies. Oh, and working on my J-truck of course. Haha! SHe's out of commision right now due to lack of doors - though I thought about driving her around without them. Afterall - she IS a Jeep.
Your driving instructor encouraged your class to learn reverse 180's and J turns? I approve...

How far are you from Cedar Rapids/Iowa City? If we do, I'll let ya know.

Doorless means it's prepped for the weekend...not out of commission

Hey Dustin!

How are you doing?

Haha! Thanks! I'll be doing a decent amount of Jeep work soon - so I'm sure I'll be bleeding quite a bit.

Haha! I don't know why we watched it - maybe because it was a movie about cars...?

Well, I'm currently living in Ames - so I think that's about 2-2.5 hours or something, right? Could be less. It's been a while since I've traveled to either of those places...

Haha! The only sh!tty part is it's been POURING rain the past few days. Luckily I have my Dad's garage. Haha!

Not sure, it's been a LONG time since I've been to Ames, lol.

I've found that it doesn't matter too much if it rains when you're doorless. It's when you're topless that it starts to suck.

So I feel I should apologize for the stupidity of my generation. Driving home from work, minding my own listening to country, and on the exit I have to take I get stuck behind some little sedan driving slow, w.e no big deal I'm almost home, that "slow" driving turns into ~15mph slower than speed limit, so I switch lanes to pass as it's about 3-4miles of road, well dumb b!+ch is texting and driving and swerves into my lane twice, I have to hit the dirt road next to me, ok w.e her problem, I speed up and get in front of her as I have to turn, had the light not turn green for me to turn she would've rear ended me as she never stopped, to top it off, there's 3 stop signs down another 2-3 mile road, she ran every single one. I swear people like her deserve the Darwin Award immediately.

Sorry for the rant, just pissed off.
How's everyone tonight?

Haha! I'm too lazy to look it up right now. Doing paperwork..

True true... It's pretty cold here right now too - though if there's a nice day while I'm waiting for my weatherstripping to come in I may just have to take her for a spin doorless. Haha!

Film her, drive right, let her hit you, then plan your next upgrade.

I hate it when I see people texting while driving... I've almost gotten into multiple accidents thanks to them swerving and not paying attention to the road in general.

I'm not too bad. Just finishing up my beginning of shift paperwork. How are you doing - other than your drive home, I mean. Haha!

I imagine you have them in your patrol vehicle but I also carry them in my jeep. Raincoats...the cheapo emergency ones. lol

Come to think of it I need to switch from my winter to my summer emergency kit if it ever warms up.

It's not too bad so far. Hopefully it'll be a nice and calm night for me. Haha! I'm kind of tired and not really feeling like dealing with the crazies.. Haha! Barely slept at all (even for me) the past few days...

Glad I don't have family there in West. Have some in Waco..actually I have them all over Texas.

Not to belittle it but you know you're from Texas when someone says "My big building was all blowed in."
