Not to be a buzz kill, but I would be careful taking antibiotics. Certain antibiotics treat certain symptoms and if you don't take the correct amount your body will grow resistant to them.
Always finish any meds(not narcotics) given for illness

Here is the thing that probably only Ronnie understands as do I as ..well, a gent out in the boonies.

Just how many shots do you actually think you'll get off before you're plugged? So you have 10,000 rounds of ammo. Are you seriously that bad of a shot and optimistic enough to hope they'll just stand and go nyah nyah na booboo? for you to get a decent bead?

One shot.. One harvest. Clean and neat with no chance or as little as you can make it so. Don't shoot through brush..you'll miss. A harvest shouldn't suffer.

When you think of it, the United States has the largest population of trained snipers on the planet. We don't need cases of bullets..just one. Unless you really suck on the range.

He still shoots for fun. He isn't buying this in fear of a war. He just likes to shoot and has the money to do so

Amoxicillin for strep throat... I get it every few years and follow the same directions as always. I do go to the doctor too, but if I'm 90% certain what it is I'll start before they get the test results and write the prescription (for the same stuff). I can't afford those 1-2 extra days of being shitfaced sick and miserable with deadlines at work.

Well I do to. But even my back has limits to bending over and picking up brass and unfortunately they don't have a magnet that doesn't start with "shop" and end in "Vac" that works in the middle of the boonies to handle that problem.

Good deal, I'm of the belief that old antibiotics can break down into harmful chemicals and cause severe damage to organs if taken in high enough doses. JMHO

Just giving you something to consider

I have 2000 rounds of .308//7.62 NATO that I'm willing to sell. Could easily pay for a sweet lift on my jeep given the current climate.

Hey Phil? and whomever.. for fun, and ..how to put it? Eh, okay, some people are gun shy, squint, blink, flinch, jerk, etc. I've always been good with a shotgun on birds. Pistols and rifles were different for me. Used to be horrible. So for fun, and actually shooting that will break bad habits I'd suggest the following. I'm not sure about law enforcement everywhere but some of the sheriffs here do it for fun and I've joined then.

a. single cock airsoft pistols. You get one shot, its not semiauto so you have to pull the slide. They shoot hard and yes you feel it if you get hit. Kids and I have "wars". You pick up snapshots fairly fast. Wear goggles please.

b. for the fear of kicks that cured me even having an air rifle when I was like..10? I have 3 GAMOs. a PT-80 tactical pistol, and two air rifles. They are heavy, so weight is the same, just as loud, and yes they kick. Ammo cost is practically zero and knowing you are shooting a .177 or .22 pellet at near or more than 22 velocity for the smaller caliber its fine for small game, birds, ducks even. I find ledges along streams I can peer over and peg ducks, wade in and get them. You get extreme patience in your shots knowing it'll take you 20 seconds or less to reload. Just an idea anyways.

What would be the going price for something like that?

On a different not the drive home from town was like rush hour. 30 miles..one mule deer.... and crap loads of elk on the road. 50 or so along the route. Surprised no one ate one but we're kinda used to it on that road. Just travellers get surprised and end up with an 800+ lb smelly hide blanky in their lap.
That sounds good to me. I've been wanting to move somewhere like that for a while. Mainly Alaska.

The whole idea is getting ammo. It has been pretty hard to find it latley.

Uhm... I have 20 acres with a 2500 sq foot home, 3 car garage + an adjacent shop coming up for sale in a couple of months for around 240K? Or less...not sure anymore. Built in 07'.

OH yeah! I used to have snakes too - but the GF said I can't have them if she lives with me. Haha!

The boy is literally Philerchad (a completely made up name we came up with when we were drunk. ), the female is named Mirtyl, and my tortoise is Peamo - a combination of the GF and my nicknames
