Man, I shoulda kept my 7 mag for you. Quite possibly the best all around weapon for big game. I traded it for Harley parts

Go get a shotgun, and a .300 Win Mag then you'll be set for anything! If you need a handgun go for the .38 Super, mine is way accurate (for a handgun) at 100yds. You can go for Moose right?

Depends on the zone. Some are just one tag available and on a point system. 10 pts. max. I have 6

No better place for Elk than NM. Too much work for me though, big a$$ animals. The last one we got was on the last afternoon of the season, way deep. As we were quartering it the sleet started, 4 hours in sleet that turned to snow packing out. And the guy that shot it left us and went home, no meat for him.

I have a friend that was ex-canadian army, and they came out with a commemorative pistol for his division. Took him 2 years to get through the paperwork to buy one.

Isn't baiting animals in Canada illegal?

Very good gun. Take down anything you'll come across including a bear.

.410 like the shotgun? Won't even let my 6 year old have one. Useless unless you are a very, very good shot and only good for small birds.
