Can you do a fabric that is watertight?

That's perfect man.

Just fabric would be easier to store and handle. That would be my choice.

I have some cordura (what boot uppers are made of) that is water RESISTANT. That's what I upholstered my seats in.

True. If I do that, it'll prolly snap to the top of the tub, and butt up to the back of the front seats.

If you can find something waterproof that's the ticket, or seal the cordura...

I need an Opine. I still have my 5 stock tires and rims for the Rubi. Tires only have like 5 miles on them, whatever it took to drive from the plant to the rail. Don't know if I'll use them and I could use the money but selling them is ripping me a new one.

This is some weird material James gave me... It's supposed to be awesome.for making handles - but supposedly can cause cancer if inhaled... But I already had some of that - so that makes me immune, right?

Beats me... I was an industrial radiologist for a couple of years and should be dead a couple of times over from radiation poisoning.

…once i was a man.

.

…i said what i meant, and i meant what i said.

…there was nothing that could keep me subdued and passive.

…i lead men into harms way…and led them back.

…i spit in the face of death.

…i taunted those who would end my life.

…i was the biggest meanest bastard in the valley.

.

…then i lost my masculinity for many years.

…i became one of the masses.

…i did what i was told.

…i dressed the way i was told.

…i ate what i was told to cook.

…i stayed out of sight because i was embarrassing.

…i said what i was told to say.

…mostly i was told to shut-up…and i did.

.

…today there are no men to lead.

…today there are no threats to my stature in the valley.

…today the valley is no longer important to anybody but me.

…today i do not need to put my shoulders back.

…to push my chest out.

…the swagger can go away.

…i do not need to strut the middle of the valley.

…i can stand and hide in the shadows.

…i do not get to participate.

…i get to watch and listen and imagine.

…today there is no need to dare the fate dealt face down.

…the cards are face up for all to see.

.

…swagger turns to old man totters.

…the gut once strong and flat eclipses the chest.

…the mean confident bastard fades.

…and becomes just the bastard child he always was.

.

…thank-you for the light that pulled me into the valley once again.

…the visit was far to brief but was euphoric for an old man.

…i will look over my shoulder into the valley and remember.

…as climb back into the cave.

.

…there is a cave on the mountain.

…the mountain that was built from the dirt and stone once in the valley.

…the cave is dark.

…the cave is safe.

…the cave is home.

…until the darkness extinguishes the spark.

.

some of you here are cool people! i found many hours of banter that was welcome and needed. thank-you. held out hope that i would meet some of you one day, but it was an old fool's dream.

banter on y'all!
