Also James, greatest thing here about CCP. State law requires they give you an answer within 45 days of applying. IF you don't have a yay or may answer after 45 days. They MUST issue you a temporary CCP until yours is approved or denied.

I understand what you're saying, but it has also caused a lot of people to go out and buy guns that aren't familiar with them and probably don't know which end to point at someone

BTW...the only gun I own is a 12ga

I'm familiar with shotguns as I grew up hunting, but I'm not so familiar with handguns.

Luckily I work in law enforcement and I have more than enough officers willing to teach me to shoot properly at the range.

(I'm a civilian communications expert, better known as a dispatcher.) LOL!

Oh no...I wasn't talking about you...I was just making a general "blanket" statement.

I myself aren't too familiar(other than how to shoot) I wouldn't know where to begin as far as cleaning, etc
I don't know the difference b/t all the ammos of the same caliber

It will backfire. I am very fluent in section 8 procedures. It will take 5-10 years but they will stop offering it to section 8. Guaranteed income until inspection time comes. The inspector WILL find a list. Until everything is corrected and you get a reinspection. You will not receive a check for rent. Once you pass your inspection, you will start receiving your checks again. However you will not receive the checks you didn't get during the inspection period. Whether it take 1 month to 6 months. There was talk of making section 8 housing recipients a protected class under real estate laws. Making them able to live ANYWHERE they want and not giving owners the ability not to offer their property to section 8 recipients. Yeah, it was killed quick.

Albuquerque is weird, some of the "war zones" have no section 8 at all. That's exactly what all the locals call a few neighborhoods around here.

I've been wondering how y'all have been though.

My whip got stuck in a hail storm at work, like softball size hail, and she was in the shop for two weeks. 6 months old and she's already been beaten!!

I just got her back a few days ago and I've been thinking about new tires and wheels. So I thought I'd check in here.

This was the hail, and this is AFTER it had been rained on for 30 minutes. My friend took this photo.

Unless I'm going back outside I lay it on the table beside the couch, holster and all.

I would rather die never having to use it, than die wishing it had been nearby.
