When you are in 2wd the disconnect is in the xfer case. This keeps the front driveshaft from rotating, so your power isn't turning more than is necessary. Helps your gas mileage and wear & tear. The 'hubs' are in effect locked to your axle.

You'll still see the driveshaft rotate, but it's not being powered from the tcase end. <-sidenote

I would love too it's not by choice that I don't its cause there is no where to go. I hit every puddle, mud, bump, hill I can. Crawled onto a fallen tree today in a park parking lot. Ill to over curb islands in parking lots. I'm like deprived

I'm also undecided on this, I like the teraflex solution but not the price. I'd really like a straight piece of steel. I really like the poison spyder carrier, but not the way it doesn't give you access to the tailgate. I dunno either...

Yes! You said it. That's why I went with the No-slip in the front. In my '75 K5 I had a detroit locker in the front and during the week when I was just commuting I kept the front driveshaft in the back (cargo area).

Haha! Thanks! I'm not getting my hopes up or anything - but it would be nice to make more money/get more hours... No matter what I'll be making more money. The only thing is - right now I live about 2 minutes from my job... If I get this one I'll have to drive like 30 minutes one way. Tough life, I know. Haha!

WOOT! FUTURAMA!

Word... I knew that there would be sh!tty people and everything. And a lot of the time I feel pretty good about my job - but what I can't stand is the 90% of the clients/patients that are just mooching off the system so they can be worthless pieces of sh!t. But they have an excuse - they're sad.

That doesn't like the Ace Pro series? I don't like the looks or how they changed the tire carrier. The old one had the extra bolt holes for adjusting the spare height. And those extra holes would have been nice to easily bolt up a custom built rack.

Looking on Qtec now to find another one I like but most of them are $1300+

On the bright side though there is a chance I could have my lift delivered before the meetup (and before the kit is even officially released)

Sounds like he wants a job where he works with things, and not people.

Agreed. But when you're exposed to the other 10% on a regular basis, it really eats away at your faith in people and drains you emotionally.

FFS...now it looks like they don't have Level 8 Trackers in black anymore either. Are they ****ing serious? They discontinue MB72s and instead add another Level 8 with the same -19 offset but then stop making them in black in both offsets? What in the ****!!!
