I like the dagger series also..only thing I really need. Is front and back bumpers. With tire carrier. And a winch. Then I will be happy for a couple of weeks...lol

I'd like a bumper and winch but I don't need it yet. I actually like the look of mine

Pretty sure it does. I think the rest of the RK kits include them.

I am typically NOT a "blacked out" kind of person. All too often, people take the blacked out look TOO far for my taste, and it ends up looking like cheap plastic. There's a fine line between the "quality" look, and the "I covered it in plastic" look I think. Out of the thousands of photos of black 2 door jeeps that I have ever looked at, Mikes is the ONLY one that I've ever said "I want mine just like that."

That's the other reason that I liked his so much. Its got substance without being jacked up. I have a daily driver, so I don't need all that height and rock crawling stuff. I just need something that I can get on the beach with, or take down to the lake to go fishing, otherwise its 70mph interstate driving.

And I was being sarcastic. I hate Hate HATE plastidip. I will NEVER understand why someone pays $30/$40/$50K for a Jeep, and the first thing they do is cover their wheels with a 97 cent can of sprayable rubber. I find it cheap and tacky.

Regarding your first paragraph: very reasonable, makes sense. 'Cept for the stinger-like action, but maybe there are a lot of pedestrians you encounter that need to, um, be moved aside.

Regarding your second: I, too, was exercising sarcasm

[Did you not see? I used a sarcastic font]

Ah Ha! I see! LOL

Thats why I like the Poison Spyder bumper. Its got a stinger-esque bar that is representative of its function, without being all "look at me I'm a stinger bar" size.

I think they're pretty cool, too, may get the RR one some day and replace the hoop i currently have on there.

I wonder if it appeals to the male's obsession with the phallus. I mean, just look at the washington monument

I'ont know bout all that....

I think it balances out the front end a little better than just a plain bumper, but its not as obnoxious as those full fledged stingers or brush guards.

But, how do i do that AND have a trail rack and mount points...

I need to get savvy with this "fab" buisness...
