Totally agree with you about their reputation. The front flares are the only product of theirs I've ever considered actually buying.

Have y'all ever seen the Kia Soul special editions?

I think I want to do something similar with my jeep, but I don't know what yet. I'm thinking a flat black decal against my black jeep would be nice.

ETA: graphics is what I'm referring to...

The jk is already so damb wide, bushwhackers make it look like it has wings or something. But that's just me.

I have a friend the just got the complete set for his. The back pair fit reasonably well, although the bolt holes seemed to be added as an afterthought. The fronts are terrible in regards to installation.

If you can get them done and fit properly...they look good.

It does make a difference, but i figured they were close enough in their mechanical workings and it was highly detailed. Someone said it already (maybe james or phil) but i suspect a problem with you shift fork. To substantiate that claim i offer you....no evidence

sounds about on par with shoddybilt's other products. What made it so difficult?

I'm not a fan of them on JK's either unless its running monster tires and lift (at least 37"s).

I have no idea. I really thought manually operating the lever would free it up. Things are never easy though...

He said the fronts require you to remove basically the entire front end and some modding is needed just to get them fitted up. He also mentioned bolt holes that don't line up to the body or metal at all so there's nothing to attach the bolts to.
