I faired pretty good though. My SGT had a brand new $50K dodge ram hemi that suffered $10K worth of damage, and it only had 3000 miles on it. And one of our officers brand new camaro got it pretty good too. They had to cut his roof off and weld another one back on.

The neighboring agency lost 7 our of 11 patrol cars!! Like flooded and totaled!

Same here. The Droid app seems to crash and mess up a lot more often than the iPod one... Actually - I don't think the iPod one has ever crashed or anything on me...

Yeah, they paid for it, I only had to meet my $250 deductible.

But they never called me after the adjuster went to the dealership to inspect it (I had to call them two days later), nothing was explained to me in detail as far as for repair work, it took a week longer than it was supposed to, there was bondo residue caked up in the new cowl, there was globs of glue in the front seat, overspray and powder all over the dash, they replaced my TINTED window with a CLEAR window (which we had to go back to pick up a second time), there is a spot of ugly bubbled flaky clear coat on the top of the windshield frame, and I noticed the other day that they didn't put a single screw back in the fender when they put it back on!

And to top it all off, every time I called I had to explain who I was, which Jeep was mine, and why it was in there being repaired.

PISSED me off to no end! I have a meeting with the body shop manager at 7am when I drop it off. He'd better act right because I'm not in the mood to dance today.

DANG! Are you friggin' kidding me?! That's just stupid! I'd be asking to talk to a manager immediately - or a brand new Jeep. Haha! I'd be SO P!SSED... Would NOT fly with one of my Jeeps...

Sooo....parts store opens in 32 minutes...shall i pick everything up and try to complete it before work today at 1pm? lol

I had to adjust my rear brakes last night. I could put the e-brake on, and it would BARELY hold, if there was any kind of hill...you could for get it staying still

You can TOTALLY get that finished before work! Just a matter of if you are feeling ambitious enough to try and get it all done this morning or if you want to take your time and have a project for after work...

If it's your first time- the first drum will probably take you an hour or so to get finished but that's just getting used to how everything comes out and goes back together. The second drum will probably take out like 15-20 minutes.

Yeah... Axle seal is just a few pounds of the hammer!

Don't be worried! Haha! Seriously! If you're REALLY that worried about getting everything back in order - take pictures and/or notes as you go. Seriously, it's not that complicated though. Just take your time. The springs are a PITA to get back in - but other than that it's all REALLY easy.

Think I will wait until Tomorrow. I will have more time and a second car just in case something happens. That and I need to reserve my energy. I will pass my 24 hour mark again shortly my sleeping is getting more erratic

Ahhh! That's good enough resoning. Plus, even though it is easy, having a tired foggy mind might not be the best for a job like this. It'll be better to be refreshed before you start the project.

You should talk to a medical professional about trying something to help you sleep...

See? You'll do fiiiiiiine! Just double check your work! Haha! What I like to do with stuff like that (even after doing drums MANY times) is take a "before" picture with everything as cleaned up as I can get it and then you'll have something to reference when everything is put back together. I suggest, since it's your first time, that you go ahead a take pictures every step of the way. In the future it'll be like riding a bike for ya'! Once you start into it you'll be like: "Oh yeah... This went this way and I remember THIS being a b!tch unless I did it this way..." Etc...
