VERY NICE! I was wondering how it went - but I knew you'd get it. And I told you the second one would be a cakewalk!

Oh, snizzap! That sucks, man... You should save up for one of those biggin's that you can put extra fuel cans and what-not in! I looked for one for my YJ - but they're all bumper-carrier combos... And I like my bumper (and now my carrier too).

Haha! A bit. I feel like most of it is settled now. But I needed to vent - or something. Haha! We'll see though.

And thanks for the kind words! Though I'm not that great. You give me way too much credit. Haha! I have made some comments or gone along with conversations I shouldn't have.
Definitely a cake walk the 2nd go around. Putting the axle shafts back in, I knocked out the 2 spider gears held in by the piston shaft (which I had removed to get to the shaft c clips.) I got one back in and then worked and cussed for 3-4 hours. Dustin comes over, says he has never seen the inside of the differential, then slipped the other spider gear in place like it was nothing. I WAS READY TO DESTROY SOMETHING! But she is back together, well minus the cover put on and it filled with some nice synthetic Mobil 1 75w-90 gear oil. I know she's thirsty

That's hilarious but sucks at the same time! Glad you (or Dustin - haha!) were able to get it all back together alright though!
I've had the same thing happen. Or work on something for HOURS and then you go inside for 5 minutes and come out and SOMEHOW what you were trying to do works for you then.

Ha! I tell her I'd do the opposite...I'd give up the wife to save the Jeep in a heartbeat...

That's what we're here for dude, to vent. Anytime

I'm just shopping around now to see if there's any combos I would like. The AEV would be nice but it's $1700 . I found stock tire carriers for next to nothing, but I'll get an estimate to fix the door.

Exactly, I was happy he got it in. After that I had him put the pinion shaft back in and told him to bolt that biatch in!

Ronnie, do you need a new spare tire mount w rear tail light?

Ditto. On another not, my dad and my half brother don't get along at all. Hes 80 and my brother is a bit older than I. Anyway they've disliked each other forever. My oldest son..well, we don't talk. I don't know why. I kinda blame it on his wife but I'm not sure what the deal is and when I called mom today he told me my boy is in trouble (hinting) that I need to reach out to him. Which I do. Just.. kind of afraid to I guess. Not sure how to talk to him anymore.

Wouldn't you rather know he DIDN'T want anything to do with you rather than to think he may be waiting for you b/c maybe he doesn't know how to bring it up.

I would think it'd be better to know for sure rather than "think" it's one way.

Yeah, I do. And as "Dad" I need to break the ice. Txtd him on when would be good this week to come visit so I'll be headed south to take my daughter a new mattress and see him and play 20 questions. I sure as hell don't want to end up like my dad and my brother in the same situation with him.

Yeah. I need to take a gander at it but it should be in fairly mint condition unless something fell on it. Been sitting in the shop carport since I bought Moose. Pay for shipping and it's yours. I'll send you pics if you like.

Nothing too crazy over here. Just searching for a townhouse but will probably rent a smaller apartment another year and save some money.

Thinking when my 2 year mark comes up at work I may apply for the ER. Ultimate goal is trauma....

Let me figure out if I'm going with an aftermarket or not. If not, I'll definitely take you up on that!
