Sorry to hear about your loss.
It's always hard to lose someone.

A lady walks into a bar with a duck under her arm.
A drunk guy asks, "Hey you! What do you think you're doing bringing a pig in here?"
The lady turns to the drunk and replies, real snooty, "I'll have you know that this, sir, is a duck, not a pig."
The guy finishes his drink and says with a smirk, "I was talking to the duck!"

F#CK! Been running around all morning to various junkyards since 8am... two U-pulls and three "they pull" (only called one of them - didn't physically go to it) and couldn't find a SINGLE MC 2150 carb... Or anything else I was looking for, for that matter - though I only planned on getting a new carb today.

On the plus side, after getting disappointed at the yards, I retuned the YJ's sh!tty carb for the hot weather, got all the propane tanks exchanged, grill completely cleaned and stuff to grill out tonight!

Now just chillin' in the back yard, enjoying the 80-something weather and playing harmonica while I grill myself a few burgers.

Wanted to go south to see my kids and attempt to patch things up with one of my sons but I can't afford to go and I don't want to ask the GF for gas money. Think I'll just go fishing and go camp on the lake tonite. Need to go wind out the boat for summer anyway.

I haven't had a burger in a while either, I had a nice rib-eye last night, grilling chicken today.

Ahhh... That is a predicament... Sorry man... Wish I was in the area - I'd throw you a little gas money...

Fishing and camping does sound pretty good though! I realize it's not your first choice in things to do - but maybe you can give your son a call and have a little talk before you go out..? You know, let him know that you would like to meet up and patch things up but you just aren't able right now. Just let him know you care and are wanting to see him as soon as you can.

Oooh! Very nice! Haha! It's just about nice enough there to grill out just about year-round isn't it??

Yeah - I've cooked us a ton of steaks and chicken throughout the winter... Though now that I'm thinking about it steaks are sounding better and better! Haha! Maybe another run to the grocery store is in order.

Up here at my altitude it's trout of all sorts. I have to go a ways south to find bass or catfish.

Maybe I'll go grill a burger tonite over a fire. I've let my son know I can't come. I need to get crap ready to sell, stuff we either don't need or have too much of. Hell I have 2 pianos and no one plays one. Generator, air compressor, old assed 4 wheeler, other various BS things. Oh, and the 5th wheel we want to sell. We don't use it at all. Too many bad memories for the missus by the ex.

Used to be, weather change is throwing us 20-30+mph winds, makes it hard to even be out.

Steak always sounds good. To the store!

Trouts actually one of my favorite fish, I remember when I was young my dad would bring fresh trout every time he came home from work(he worked in a different city,~12hours away)

I hate people that text and drive, one of the dumbest things anyone can do. Hope those kids get well soon.

Do it, man!!
Hmmm... Wish I was closer to hit you up on one of those 4-wheelers... Got any old carbs sitting around? Specifically a MC 2150 or 2 barrel Holley? I'll give you money TODAY! Haha!
