It's sick! He made it himself out of a chest freezer. Holds 6 kegs with room for maybe one more.

My best friend's mom's exhusband had one he made out of a fridge on their back porch. Had the tap right on the side at the perfect height. I loved that thing.

That's awesome! My Dad, now that he's free from the Devil I call my Mom, is going to be building a "brew shed" at his house with an external closet that's supposed to house a 3-keg kegerator right off the back porch. He has the closet built already - but is now debating if he wants to keep his current shed or build a new, bigger one.

I've been alright. Nothing to complain about, at least! Haha! Was going to mow the lawn - but needed parts for the mower that wont be in until next week. My lawn looks TERRIBLE! The grass just shot up like 6 inches this week! Looks like it's going to be a YJ DAY!

Just got inside from checking random stuff on my YJ - discovered the exhaust pipe was d@mn near disconnected from my exhaust manifold... Had to PB the sh!t out of it to get 'er tightened back up.

Good morning, Mel!

Pssst... Your inbox is full... I tried messaging you back but I won't keep annoying you... Just thought I'd let you know so you can clear it for more important people.
Dang! Get some scissors and go cut it

I seriously thought about doing it to the front yard so the city doesn't yell at me... But I figured if they did I had a week or so- and they haven't yet. Haha!
Here's the back yard...

I want to try to brew my own beer. Something I've been wanting to do for a while, just no where to do it.

Put down the beer and cut the damn yard!

Hard to do, I know. You will feel better when you're done.

Seriously - of your going to do it, do it right. Don't get one of those sh!tty kitchen brew sets. They suck and you won't end up with good beer. I suggest to research it... Most of the guys in my dads brew club brew their own beer just to save money on buying beer. After the initial setup cost it'll pay for itself in no time!

Cut the yard with what?? my mower is out of commission until I get the parts in. the coil is shot so there's absolutely no way it'll run...

Sadly, no. I wish I did! But I don't want to spend the money - it's reserved for potential Jeep parts as I pinpointed that the tapping is FOR SURE coming from the #1 and #3 or 4 valves... SHould've bought one last year when I saw one on sale...
I THOUGHT about stealing my Dad's push mower and doing it but I don't want to drive my J-truck and risk shattering my side windows... It's a predicament... One sacrifice for the other in all situations.

And I wasn't too worried about it until - seriously - the grass grew like 6 inches in the past two days...

Hopefully it's just a simple adjustment. With all the snow you guys had I can imagine it's gonna be insane.

YJs came with hydrolic lifters so there's no adjusting... Just replacing... And HOPING the cam is okay. Haha! Luckily they're pretty cheap so after replacing if the problem persists then I'm just going to go forward with the 4.0L head swap... I wanted to hold off because I'm going to have to fab up a new P/S pump mount...

More like all of the RAIN after the snow. It rained for just about a week straight right before it started getting really warm... Also, all of the dog sh!t in the back yard probably accelerated the precess. The front yard isn't near as bad - but it's still too long for my liking...

That doesn't sound too bad, is that head swap done often? Nobody makes a bracket for the power steering pump?

Yeah, it's been well documented OTHER than the power steering pump bracket. All I can find is "modifications to the power steering pump will be needed"... And no - it's not a part that I can find that's manufactured... The reason it has to be modified or fabbed in some way is because the 4.0L head's intake and exhaust manifold sit a little higher and farther forward than the 4.2L head. So the exhaust manifold won't go on with the power steering pump bracket in the way. Plus, the power steering pump bolts into the intake manifold as a "brace" and since it sits higher - the existing bracket won't line up - at least from what I understand...

I'm thinking about doing an in-depth writeup when I do it to help others... I did it with my "nutter bypass" because I already had a pre-emissions carter carb (no "stepper motor")- which I'd never seen anyone do until I did (and couldn't get help from anyone on here) and it's already helped out a few people.

I just googled and it came up with a BBQ place in Wisconsin! Haha! It is in MS then?

EDIT: Sorry! Answered my own question!

My Dad is a member of some cigar club that sends him "Cigars of the Month" I forget the name - but my Dad loves him his cigars!
