Saw some gorgeous classic cars Saturday and kept looking at my GF going..err, where's the checkbook. She kept looking at me kind of mean like.

And I think I broke my kneecap and leg. Damned ice.

Iffy Phil. Went camping Fri-Sun. It rained all Friday night which I loved. I get the best sleep on the planet in a tent when it rains. Its...HEAVEN with the rainfall.

Fell on a boulder in the dark so my right shin looks like and is swollen to the size of a bloody grapefruit and dinged my left kneecap so gettin in beds a bitch right now. At least with both legs gimped I don't limp BUT I do resemble a penguin when I walk.

The missus wouldn't let me drain the savings for a classic car. Saw a beautiful studebaker but she reminded me that A. we have a jeep. B. the jeeps still in the shop after the fire and we want it ready for Turdhurdlers M&G this coming weekend.

On a high note I have 3 cases of GS cookies freezing nicely in the garage and Terry Pratchett's "Going Postal" dvd to watch along with zanaflex and oxy's for the pain. Oh, and the dogs were good and did the Good thing and took themselves outside for the 3 days we were gone and the airshow was really nice except for cloudy. In addition we saw deer, turkeys, 2 california condors AND....ostriches.

The old "Lean the chair way back with beer in hand" tip over? My late wife's ex husband was visiting the kids (we actually got along) and did that off of an elevated porch and fell into the mud. I laughed my ass off.

Ain't it amazing how it can take a lifetime for the thought "Oh $hit" to go through your mind when you fall?

In this case it was fools from our network. Now that they let go of a bunch of the network guys, add to the fact that the ones leaving the company when I will aren't doing any work... nothing is getting done and they needed some physical switches.

There are times I really feel for the few guys who made the budget cuts... the workload that they have stuck on them ... I wouldn't want it
