Grim? Maybe we could tattoo that on Phil's cheeks and teach him to fart in high pitch when he walks backwards...

Bought some plastic dip thinking of paint some odds and ends on Lola its storming like crazy so im afraid the moisture may mess up my plans. I am going to either bedline my gambler wheels or plasti dip when its dryer weather. Cant decide if plasti dip is durable or not

Are you going to try not hitting the wheel studs? Was that you, or am I thinking of another Jeeper?

No it was me grim i messaged the guy and he told me they come out.. Awesome. He said they are just pressed in? Ill soon see. Then he said he buffed the studs and then sprayed them with clear coat before putting them back in. My wife loved the look so i have a green light. Just wondering when i DO SELL these gamblers if i should bedline which i know is more permanent or plasti dip?

Well take pics, cause I'd like to see how they turn out. I like that look he had

If the wife says it's OK... Better get on it before she adds something to the honey-doo list

Yeah, I'd be torn with that decision as well. On one hand the bed lining will be rugged, and your mark on the wheels. On the other hand it kills the resale value of OEM wheels . I'd say it depends on how much hard wheeling you do on a yearly basis. If you're rolling out every weekend hitting rocks and nailing logs, then perhaps bedlining is the way to go. Hell wheeling like that will give you rock rash no matter what. On the other hand if you're not wheeling too much and keeping on the road, do the plasti dip. At least then if you screw up the job, you can just peel it off and start again

Let us know what you do either way

Well im looking at doing my spare with plasti dip, and driving with it on the back for a week or so and see if i like the look before doing all the work. As for wheeling i dont do any right now! Its my DD and i cant afford to fix it WHEN it breaks. Call me a mall crawler . But my wife graduates soon so its happy trails then!!!
