I adjusted just fine. Sleep like a baby at night now. Even after 7 years of working nights.

Lucky. According to my mom ever since I was a baby I did this...so 25 years later...I still don't get the concept of sleeping at night. Lol

Is it considered lazy to be too lazy to go out to the freezer, set out a steak to grill on the porch in the snow when you prefer to wait til noon, drive 30 miles into town, and grab one just so you don't have to defrost it? And no jeeping isn't involved since its still in the repair shop.

Yes, I'm in the damned if I do or damned if I don't status. As is I get a small SS stipend, and I mean small and from the state insurance. BUT, if I go to work for an actual business my health insurance goes from 60 to 250/mo which is 1/3 of my stipend if I gross 1000 a month. If I make more I lose insurance and stipend not to mention I live 30 miles from civilization. So I invest my own moneys I've saved, build log beds. I can't work every day. I've had a stroke, and I hurt all the time from terminal illness so I just do what I can at my own pace.

The illness is onething. But the stroke was another. Completely robbed me of my sense of balance. I couldn't drive, ride a bike, barely walk for months. It came back slowly. Then found I had huge blocks of memory loss. There are things I don't know that I don't know and it affects my short term memory. Going from home to the store is a pain unless I've made a list cause I'll damn sure come back with everything but what I was supposed to bring home.
