I used to smoke cigars. I prefer cohiba. I like the dark/rich flavor.

If we're talking cigars I've got a Jamie Garcia Reserva Especial in my bag waiting to be smoked on shift.

Hell, it's my last day here I thought I'd go out with style. Get paid for an hour of work while standing outside smoking for an hour.

I'll prob get to it around 0200

Hi toolman!

Well, it's rather frustrating all in all... I think I'm going to my GFs place for some good home cooking....

To be serious for a moment it's annoying as hell to not hear from either my contract company or any other place yet. I've submitted 12 resumes and cover letters to 12 different companies in the last week and a half, and yet not even a peep.

On a good note there is a small blessing in this situation. A family friend has a small deli and one of their managers is driving them nuts. They're going to let him go, and pick me up for some shifts starting Monday. I'm not too well versed in restaurant management, but I'm going to give it a go and give them my all while I work there (I did pay my way through college as a retail manager, so I've got the customer service angle down to a T)

I'll keep submitting applications and resumes to get back into TV or lower end IT, but it looks like I'll be working in the service industry when they let me.

Hey, it's something... and they're gracious enough to let me into one of their two restaurants so I'm not counting that out. Who knows? If the money works perhaps I'll add a new field to my every growing list of possible careers.

I still would love to get back into video though... having a degree and almost 9 years of experience go to waste is quite frustrating.

Still, I'll just take it one day at a time... that's the only way to go anyway right?

I agree completely Grimm, & who knows, may run into the right person that can get you into the job you want while you're at it.

Hey there Dale, Phil
