Awwww. That's just too cute!
My grandmother and I were best friends until her passing. She never figured out email, so we wrote letters nearly daily when I was in college. She had so much to say! She wrote a diary (several, really) throughout WWII and I have them all. So much to learn through her experiences.

Much the same with you and yours, I'm sure. Enjoy it for as long as humanly possible. happy birthday to grand-maman!!!

That's adorable!! Grandmothers are special...

My grandma always understood me in a way my mother never could. We share a special bond.

I remember going to her house laying across her lap and she would scratch my back for hours and I'd ask her to tell me how it was "back in her days" ... She's the first of 12 kids and her mom and dad were dropped off by a train in the middle of northern Ontario with nothing... They built what they had...! They would sleep with the horses at night in the winter to keep them warm... Crazy how things changed!!!! ... Then I tell myself how lucky we are and how they must feel truly blessed now...!

I know that feeling. My family came from a bunch of cow hands on my dads side. On this trip we stopped at the "Billy the Kid" museum and my GF/Fiancee'/shackup is related to William Bonney whom Henry "aka" Billy the kid got his name from. Anyway we went to the little museum there and up on a case was a two headed calf.. Never noticed the paperwork with it. "Donated by Mr. Shipley 1932". We had lots of land then around Clovis and Fort Sumner..early on my great great, or great grandfather told my greatuncle Frank to go take care of the ranch, fix it up, and fire that sorry sonofabitch they had working the place. They told him he'd be there for a couple of months alone. He stayed over a year by himself. When they sent him, by himself, he was 12 years old at the time and made a side living breaking horses.

Having jeeps isn't enough for men.....
For instance, a female 5, in a jeep, will jump up a couple of points (the cooler the jeep, the more of a boost). A male 5, on the other hand, is just an ugly sumbitch in a jeep. It could be jeepzilla......it wouldn't matter.

If you like that one, the period mysteries check out Murdoch Mysteries. Canadian based. I don't think Mel or Donnie watch them though. Too cerebral.

Amazing eh!!! Things have changed so much in not many years... It's almost scary to think about what's coming up.

Means an average woman in a jeep looks hotter while an average man still just looks average.

I'm guessing
