Gotta love when weather decides to show up & stick around

What is a Northern Loon? I would assume some sort of deer, elk, moose, or something to that effect

Art problem? I must not have been paying close enough attention

A loon is a waterfowl of the northern climbs. Very beautiful with a wonderful voice. Great Northern Loon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As for the art part I have the bed constructed and its time to install the electrics and draw and cut the headboards, paint them, and woodburn them and the side rails, post ornamentation, etc.

That's really neat, have never heard of one of those birds. Ok, now I follow, woodworking like you do is definitely an art, I take it that you are undecided on how you are going to finish out the current project?

Yes. I have a headboard inset to do thats 4' x 18" thats pretty much going to be a panolply of Monument Valley running day to night left to right with a full moon inset. Thunderheads with lightning. On he day side some hogans with sheep and small children in traditional navajo dress. On the night Kachina's dancing. Siderails with (where I'm having idea problems), indian insignia sand painting style with desert flowers on the missus side..easy hers. A footboard I may or may not do because I can only make it some 8" tall. Thinking black on black bowls, and petroglyphs. Then I still need the hubcaps. I think I can get those today... I hope.

That's really awesome, & very creative. I love stuff like that & definitely like the theme & direction you are taking with it. I would be very interested to see pics when you get it finished
