And lastly, Obama took over a big mess yes, however, no longer can blame bush, his policies expired, now it is Obama policies now that we are in his 2nd term. Also, remember, bush had a democrat majority house and senate and couldn't get crap done, when Obama took office, he had a majority democrat house and senate as well for almost a year, nothing got done then either!!!!

Put it like this, a firefighter goes out and has a big fire (mess) to take care of, does he throw gasoline on it first?!

Lol you're way way late! We had this debate lol. Hmmm okay... I didn't get into abortion but I think we're kind of, maybe, on the same page. I don't believe in it, and DO NOT believe in it as a form of birth control.... But with that said I don't believe the gov 't has a right to tell a woman or a man what to do with their body and I feel that if a woman is pregnant because of circumstances like a horrific rape they deserve the right to choose.

I'm sorry I didn't mean to imply that Obama should still be floating on the Bush sucks coat tails. I agree 2nd term.... His responsibility.

I do think though that with a 2 party system there will never be a reason to work towards a good solution. Each party has their agenda and a compromise that is good for "the people" doesn't happen.

I know it will never happen but a third party system keeps them honest. Keeps them working towards change and effecting change.

Ok.... Now back to sports!!! My Dolphins are 3-0 .... I mean... I'm afraid to even say it, it might change.

Lol I just typed another big big opinion on this but deleted it so that we can move on. I'm really not an advocate or a lets all be equal ballot taker. I give those people a LOT of credit! The luxuries I have in my life are paved on the blood of others... But isn't that with every victory of equality? Civil rights, woman's rights.... All fought and won on the blood of our peers.

All of the people I know don't really care what it's called as long as its the same....

I don't usually wave my gay flag, I just want people to see me as Kymber. A great mom, a great wife, animal lover.... No gay in there. I mean.. I've never been attracted to women. Sorry Mel... You're pretty and all but nothing....

Just my wife... She's the ONLY woman I've ever looked at. If we ever ended up divorced I'd most likely date men again. My wife is an amazing person and I fell in live, lol.

I think the first step to being treated equal is to NOT ask for special treatment.

I'm just me... Kymber.

i agree who heartedly, and that wasn't directed towards you, I have gay family and friends, I them 100%, would never think twice about it . I just wanted to make clear that the constitution does not give the Feds any control over marriage, meaning it is a state right and Feds have no control, and the fact that it's not a religious ceremony so religious zealots can get over them selves

Most "religious zealots" don't care about a civil union, it's the "marriage" in a church that isn't agreed with. If you want to put your significant other on your taxes, insurance, etc....I believe you should have every right to do so.

well that's a holy matrimony, not a marriage. A marriage is 2 people making a commitment to another person to love and care for them. A holy matrimony, done in a church, is where you make a commitment to your partner and to god. And if a church doesn't want to have a holy matrimony for 2 men or 2 women, then that is there right, but I know plenty of churches that would preform a holy matrimony
