Alright guys and gals! I need opinions, votes, or votes or whatever you wanna do, but answer the question please. I have to replace my sway bar links as I mentioned last night, this morning the gf said "if it needs it, you decide" so with that, do I replace them with JKS quicker discos for ~$160 and do it by the end of the month, or do I wait until the end of next month when I'll have the funds and replace the whole assembly with a currie anti rock (~$400)? What do y'all think? Also, good afternoon folks!

Did he crash or were you holding him down? Wrecking stinks, it's always nice when someone stops to help.

A car hit him from behind.
Poor fella didn't know what happened. But didn't lose consciousness. And I believe he made it out without anything other than the basic- a little road rash, broken foot, and lots of bruising. he was devastated about his bike though... A month old :-(

Dang.... thats one of the reasons Im afraid to get a motorcycle... nothing to protect you from other motorists...

Glad to hear he wasn't seriously injured though...

bikes can be replaced! Good thing you were there! Typically it's a left turn in front of the oncoming bike. Had that happen to me twice when I was a kid, thank God for fall bars! Worst I got was a broken thumb. I don't even know if they put them on bikes these days since the bikes are so big. Once I moved to DC area I lost all interest in riding ( crazy idiot drivers here)!

If you are seriously looking at the Antirock ask some people that run them how they behave, I don't think they are as solid as a stock sway bar.

Always carry full coverage on a bike, that way you can start deciding on what you're going to get next before you stop sliding.

I just looked at their site, only 2.5+ lift for their discos, seems like I either get JKS, or non-disco links, or a lift, but no budget for that lol

I thought that the anti rock was adjustable with 5 settings. I'll read around. Thanks

Thats my main hesitation for getting a bike...

I need opinions too: Someone in the club is selling a set of 35" Goodyear MTR's with 15k miles on them mounted on 15" black steel rims...for $800. I'm tempted...but I'm not a fan of 15's.

Agreed. But I'm running polished aluminum 17's right now and I like the look. Not sure if I want to change that.
