Doubt this ancient thing could handle it anyway. Can't even play YouTube videos!!
My only computer is an iBook G4... Got it for free 5 years ago "if I could fix it" - just took it apart and cleaned it up. The previous owner bought it when they came out in 2003...

I've looked up how to adjust the draw weight, install a peep sight and a kisser button... SUPER easy... Almost wish I wouldve just bought them and done it myself...

New toy, 80' Deville with the 6.0, loaded, only 79k miles. Going to clean it up over the winter and start doing car shows next spring and summer, car has pretty much no rust on it too! And the leather is flawless

They didn't last time I was there... I'm definitely going to call them at 9am when they open... The call will determine what I do today...

My dad and I are currently debating if its really worth restoring this or just pulling the 364 nailhead (which I actually just got running after sitting for YEARS outside) and building a rat rod truck...

Attachment 441713
Would cost 10X the money just to get her back on the road (and interior) than she would be worth when its all said and done...

Would need a new transmission (no one rebuilds Dynaflows these days), tons of work to the axle/support system with the new transmission, interior work (ALL OF IT), a little rewiring (the little wiring that was used in the 50's), some body work... The list goes on and on....

Sometimes its not about the stops along the way but the journey to get there

Agreed... To a point... It was my Grandma's first car.... That's the only reason it's lasted as long as it has... Otherwise it'd probably still be sitting outside in the back yard at my Mom's house, rotting away...

But a RatRod truck would be a helluva fun project (and probably less headaches) as well!!

My Dad has me ALMOST convinced that's the way to go... The only thing keeping me holding on to the car is the fact it was my Grandmas... Bought off the lot, brand new, in 1959... In the end it's his decision, really... I don't have anywhere to keep it... It's "my" car, but still titled in his name and he would be the one spending the money to store it...

Clay,
It's b/c the gubment watches everything we do

I actually had one of the docs I work with tell me our gubment needed to be bigger and it was ok that they read her emails to keep her safe.

I told her that was one of the dumbest damn things I've ever heard......She is a Canuck thou
