For those dealing with the older generation.....My father has asked me probably 6 times this am how my arm is and why it is in a sling...the next question is about the Jeep...and is it totalled and do I need any money since I will be off work for a few days.

I was hit driver's side front, crossing an intersection yesterday. Damage was severe enough/ hit was hard enough, motor was pushed up into hood, front bumper gone, there is not a straight panel from the firewall forward, cowell is even "tweaked" bent. I was headed north and ended 25-30 foot East of the intersection. Police EMTs and witness said he was probably going at least 50mph.

I have a broken collar bone and some cuts scratches on my face. So glad I was in a Jeep I can not imagine being hit that hard in a "normal" size car. The vehicle that hit me was a "Gm mini-van" of some sort.

I just keep telling him same answers over and over....

Oh snap... sounds like that could've gone a bit worse, though. Jeep can be replaced, I'm glad you don't need to be.

As for the other, cherish every moment with your Nanners or Mimi or PawPaw or whatever. They smell and say funny stuff, but you'll miss the sh!t out of em before you know it.

Hey Tom, she didn't forget your birthday, she just didn't get the day right. When you get older the days run together and it is quite easy to not remember a specific date or even what day it is. When your idle not much to differentiate one day from the next. I would just thank her for the early birthday wishes and then talk about something else

So I went partying last night, all costume style. Awesome time, my sil was a night stand (one night stand, lol), there was anonymous, a (really good) dead nurse from the 1800s that actually is an e.r. nurse, dr feelgood, bacon, Kim Kanye and North West (Kim even had ass padding, lmfao) and a dude in blackface.

If any of you are into music;Lou Reed just died
Jenny said when she was just 5 years old ya know there's nothing happening at all
Every time she put on the radio there was nothing going down at all not at all
One fine morning she puts on a New York station and she couldn't believe what she heard at all. She started dancing to the fine fine music, ooh her life was saved by Rock N Roll, hey baby rock n roll

im not a chili fan, nor a stew fan. I have my own recipes for food I do not like, and I enjoy cooking them, strange right? I'll have to show you my chili recipe or freeze you a container when I make it this winter, 8 different peppers including ghost peppers, and some Guinness beer and some ghost face killa beer. I'll save you a jar this winter.

My wife said she'll take some Texas chili Since I'm making my Brunswick stew, I won't make chili now until late November.

got family over if there's any left I'll save some. All meat no beans or tomatoes. Use ancho and Jalopena peppers along with the typical spices. A lot of times I'll use left over steaks from the grill that we've frozen. Gives it an incredible smokey taste
