New inlet bridge is still standing...for now...Road washed out at sunrise at the S turn but receeded but apparently is washed out there again and between Hatteras and Frisco....My house is the last house in frisco...right before the stretch between them...

Damn. I was down there in September and I was surprised to see debris still on the side of the road right there. All those houses had brand new staircases on the lower sections.

Best of luck with your house. I lie it down there. I'm trying to convince my gf to move Sandy may actually help in my case. We're expecting alot of damage at my house
