I talked with someone from RC not to long ago and think I will give it a try. I know the Jeep is capable, but am I? I am a novice when it comes to leaving the pavement

Everyone is a novice is there first time out and even some time after that. Takes time to learn the ropes. I've been at it for 5 years or so and I still don't understand how a snatch block works.. The key is to go with people who are experience offroaders and know the place you are going to very well. They will guide you and help you along the way. If you run into a obstacle that you don't feel comforatble with in most cases there are go arounds and if not then your wheeling mates should guide you through the obstacle. Got to get some mud on those tires .. Let me add also, make sure you get that undercaridge clean when your done asap.. Not fun to work on a vehlicle covered in mud.. those rotating lawn sprinklers work great.. Find some good people your comforatable wheeling with and have at it I say..

nothing for me in alaska and the moving cost would be astronomical. Looking at moving to either the rockies or florida though next summer.. will depend on funds and work at the time of course

Going good. Starting to get sleepy. Wish I could go home and go to bed. 49 degrees right now. Good sleeping weather.
